A Word For The Chosen

"It will be as the Lord speaks through you that your brethren will hate you, that they may cast you out from amongst themselves.
But God has a plan, what He speaks through you, will come to pass, of that you can be sure.
All that He requires of you is that you be obedient to HIS voice."

This is a Word I received from the Lord this morning while reading through the story of young 17 year old Joseph, and his trials and his ultimate victory in the Lord. Things may look bleek at times, but brother, sister...God has a plan!!!!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

We will all face choices brothers and sisters, some things may seem as if they are acceptable to God, surely God wouldn't be bothered if I just compromise a little for the cause of unity. But brothers and sisters, God would have us to be hot or cold, if we are luke warm He will spew us out of His mouth. We must never compromise The Truth of HIS Word for anyone, or anything, at any time...or soon we will drift off into luke warmness and not be fit for HIS kingdom. Any dying to ourselves, any crucifying of our flesh for HIS sake, is ,and will be worth it all brothers and sisters, HE is worth everything!!!

Helen, that is a good word. I always think with Joseph that it was when he stopped struggling against his circumstances, and relinquished his life, that the Lord was then able to release and use him. I know that when I feel sorry for myself and miserable about my circumstances it is all self, and really I am blaming God. I am being an enemy of the Cross, because the Cross is about putting self to death. Lord, don't let me stand in the way of any work You wish to do in me.

Of a truth Helen.

Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

Luke 21:17And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake.

Matthew 10:34Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

1 Peter 4:3For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you: 5Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Matthew 28:20
20...... lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

True words, Helen.

I am amazed at how consistently the Lord has been dealing with people about being obedient to His voice.

It just seems that those who have taken the time to die to themselves and hear the voice of God for everything that they need in their lives will continue to shine brighter.

Continue on the path that is set before you and let no man take from you what God has given you.

God be with you,
Ryan
