We are living in the hour of Temptation

It's been so long since I actually made a post to this blog, I have been so involved in Face Book postings on a daily basis, that I have neglected those who perhaps have received any slight edification, or exhortation or encouragement from anything posted here over the past few years. There are so many that have blogs, and ministries on Facebook, and U-tube these days, it is mind boggling. We are surely living in the last of the last days. One must be careful, because just as there are many true saints on U-tube and Facebook, there are just as many false teachers and prophets and wolves galore, looking for prey, and to make merchandise of the children of God.

Technology has made such great strides in the last 150 years even the last 25 years, that it makes ones head spin just to think on it all. Yet it serves to verify the word, as it is written:

Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
This is a faith builder saints, in this perilous hour in which we are living. As it is written many are running to and fro, we have such diverse transportation open to us all.

Sadly thou many are running to and from God, many so called Christians are taking their own lives, or turning themselves completely over to the lusts of their own flesh, as if God we not powerful enough to sustain them and satisfy their every need, or deliver them from every temptation that is common to every man and woman. He is faithful as it is written:

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

The old saying that "God won't give you more than you can bear", is an untruth. The unsaved, and the saved alike often do have more than they can bear without the undergirding of the Lord. We have more than we can bare on our own at times saints of God, were it not for the Lord making a way for us, to escape the temptations of the devil that come to destroy our faith and trust in the Lord.

I pray saint of God, that you will always submit yourself to God and resist the devil, knowing that Jesus Christ is sufficient for you and that nothing is impossible for Him. We are living in the hour of temptation as it is written:
Revelation 3:10
10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Remember, as with the three Hebrew children and the fiery furnace, the Lord does not need to take His people from the earth to protect us. The three Hebrew children came out of that furnace without even a hair on their heads singed nor even smelling like smoke, yet the guards who cast them into the furnace well slain from the heat. God does not change, neither do His abilities change, he remains the same for all eternity.  Stand fast in your faith unto the end saint of God, and you shall receive the crown of life.

Blessings to you all,

The Purpose in the Fellowship of His sufferings-Knowing His Heart!

We can not truly know the heart of God, until we have fellowshipped in His sufferings. This is why He takes us through hard places, and why He allows us to observe the ravages of sin in the lives of others. This is why He allows us to experience pain and heartache, and much sorrow, that we might know His heart. That we might be encouraged, and that we might understand the full extent of His Great Love and Mercy and Forgiveness.

So saint of God if you are suffering in any way, then rejoice because God loves you, and He shall bring you through this fire, for His Glory, and your growth, and you shall have more Faith, than before you entered the Fire, and you shall understand His Heart!

Blessings to you all, Helen

Lord Your Word is Truth! A word of warning to those still slumbering in this hour

August 3, 2013 at 12:01pm

Lord I know you are Faithful, and Your every Word is True.. You never fail and neither shall Your Word fail.

You have said that this day would come, yet many are still in denial, and continue with their lives their hopes their dreams as usual.

America is being disassembled as we watch, and her once, some what Godly Influence, and form Justice, is being systematically done away with. America as she once was, is being taken out of the way, that the Anti-Christ may take his place in history.

The Beast is on the rise in the earth, and spreading itself like a plague without check... Russia and China are waiting like a cat upon its prey. The sons of Ishmael wait to crush the seed of Abraham.

The Great Whore shows herself at every hand, wanting all to understand her importance to the world.

America and it’s great opulence and prosperity will be no more. Her enemies have been sent upon her as a thief in the night, while she slept upon her bed thinking no ill would or could ever befall her.

The Christians have been perfectly content world wide, playing church, and loving the world simultaneously, with few exceptions. They have been, for the most part, just as sinful and covetous as the world around them, thinking God to pay no heed to their foolishness. Most do not even realize the imminence of Christ’s return, they are eating, and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, and will, until horror comes upon them... and they shall be crying to the rocks and hills to hide them, from the wrath of Almighty God.

Hate being a party pooper, but I have to speak what the Holy Spirit lays on my heart, because I love the called out, the remnant the elect of God, and I don't want the Lord to stop speaking to me... blessings Saints.. oh and to the hungry soul every bitter word is sweet! I know that there will be a few to whom this bears witness :) Helen

Sin in the Camp!

In reading Isaiah 58-59 today, I see some vivid similarities to the state of many who call themselves of God’s people today.

“Sin” the nasty little word no one wants to speak of these days. Evidently everybody partakes in it, so why even mention it.

“It’s not our job“, say some, “to even give it a thought“. “God will take care of it”, they say, “He is the judge.”

“We are saved, God gave us the world and everything in it to enjoy to the fullest.”

And oh, “We have the blood of Jesus Christ to cover our sins, so we can “sin” and we’re covered ok!”

Personally to treat the blood of Christ so lightly, I believe is like playing Russian Roulette. God is not mocked!

Well it is written, that God’s people have always had a problem with “sin“, and it’s more than obvious to the astute, the observant, that we still do today. Unfortunately people have changed little over the centuries, we think we are better than the children of Israel in the Old testament, but we are not.

God’s people as it is written, were lazy, greedy, boastful, angry, selfish, amongst other things, and filled with blood guilt. They turned their backs while the innocent were being led to the slaughter, and pretended like nothing was happening, and pretended that they knew nothing, but God knew! None called for justice, nor pleaded for truth, none cared for his brother, it was all about pleasing ones self, elevating oneself, while still appearing Religious.

Now it is written, that these people of God sought Him daily, they fasted, they delighted in knowing the ways of God, yet they did not follow His ways, they delighted in their ability to approach God. Religious Pride was their thing, it was all about the public perception. They even dared to complain when God did not hear their fast backed petitions to Him. Religious arrogance, sound familiar?

Truth is a rare commodity today in this hour, for many seek to pervert it, mask it, cover it, hide it. The truth is God’s people are expert at smoke and mirrors. God told His people what He delighted in, and that was to show the people their "sins", and to loose the bands of wickedness, and undo the heavy burdens, and let the oppressed go free, and break every yoke, to feed the hungry amongst them, and house the poor. To rend their hearts and not their garments. So many today are hard of heart. If we have no love for our brothers how can we say we love God?

Now we know that it is written, that in Jesus day, he spoke to the Religious who did all things well, as far as the outward appearance. They even preached well, and taught well, but they did not live well. Although to all outward appearances they seemed like Godly people, God said their hearts were far from Him, and they were white washed dead men. God does not look upon your facade, He looks upon your heart saint of God. You can fool everyone on this earth, but woe to you who attempt to fool God!

He delights in us, when our hearts go out to the poor, and the needy amongst our brethren, and when we minister to the afflicted in soul, when we care for the things of others, when we bare the fruit of our Father.
Blessings to you all!

A Personal Reflection-for your edification saints of God

I was talking with the Lord this morning, and He reminded me of some people in my early life, and where everything they were, and everything they had, is now, and of what little eternal benefit it all was for them, because they lacked Him.

In retrospect of my early life, I can see that all those who treated me cruelly, those who refused me love and care, also those who I was envious of at the time, those who had families, who had each other, who had all that I did not have.

Many now are dead, and they died never knowing Jesus Christ, and all their education, and all their money, did them no good at all in the day of their deaths. Now they await judgment day, and I know on that day, God will let them know that although to them I was worthless, He loved me.

And then He pointed to the Miracles that He has done for me, even when I thought I was so alone, so insignificant to those of the world, so worthless, so wicked, so helpless, and hopeless. He reminded me of whom He comes after, the lost sheep, the wounded sheep, the needy sheep, the weak, those who have no strength, the hopeless, He comes after those considered “the black sheep” of their earthly families, those in need of Him.

I was the black sheep of my earthly family, I was lost and floundering and wicked and needy, but He found me, He drew me unto Himself and He washed me as white as snow in His precious blood... He created a new heart in me, He gave me of His strength, He gave me Hope, He gave me a future, He gave me Life, and He loves me.

Wind and Fire

This is a word I received from my son in law who is behind bars yet more free than most:
Quote:
Wind and Fire ..
1 Peter 2:9-17
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme
14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well
15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God
17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king
Sometimes when I want to start a fire, the wind puts it out .

But when I try to keep a fire burning, wind keeps it going.

So, in the first instance, I label wind bad, because it thwarts my plans, in the second instance, I label it good, because it helps me accomplish what I want to get done.

This paradox illustrates how we judge things by the way they effect us. We declare circumstances or people ''bad'' if they thwart our plans, or cause us inconvenience. We judge circumstances or people ''good'' if we agree with them and they support our cause.

But God is the One who determines what is good or bad, and He does so, not by how it effects our plans, but by whether or not it accomplishes His plan.

His plan is that we be a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people. His purpose for us, is to proclaim the praises of Him who called [us] out of darkness into His marvelous light. (v9)

To accomplish God's purpose, we are to respect all people, love other believers, fear God, and honor those who rule over us, even when some things don't seem good to us. (v17)

These kinds of actions, may fan a spark of belief, in those who observe our responses to bad circumstances, and most of all bring praise to God. When things look bad, remember God is good.

Your son in Christ - End quote
