Saints I cannot tell you the number of friends I have lost, since I have been saved, and I am talking professing Christians here saints. But, we are not here to win friends saints of God, but to be pleasing to our Saviour. We must always remember that our Saviour was despised and rejected by those He came to save. He came to His own people, and they received Him not. If others do not consider you worthy of their approval, remember, Jesus is no respecter of persons, and He will always be your friend.
So we must consider it no strange thing when we also are despised and rejected by Christians. If we get to where we have no friends, we must keep going on for our Lord.
When Jesus was in His darkest hour, in his most needful hour, his very disciples slept, while he travailed in agony before the Father. So, what we have to go through on this earth is as peanuts to an elephant, compared to what the disciples of our Lord, or our Lord Himself, had to endure. We have not had to suffer unto death, as of yet.
So be encouraged saints of God, and do not fret over whether men or women accept you, seek to be found approved 0f God, and fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life..for this is the hope we have in Christ Jesus...that as He now is, so shall we all be! Come soon Lord Jesus!
