Hey fellow sheep, is it just me, or is there a pandemic of Christians who used to be content being called brother or pastor, now breaking their necks to be called an apostle or a bishop?
It seems that everyone wants to be a chief and no one wants to be a regular Indian (no offense intended to my Indian brothers and sisters).
It seems that the ego of some Christian’s are not content being called a mere sheep, or a brother or a pastor. Some are seeking the title of doctor after their name, thinking they will be better accepted and heard by the masses.
What happened to obedience to the Word of God which says in Mark 9:35 “And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.”?
It seems that no one wants to be a mere servant either, why they say, "We are Kings kids we deserve the very best." Hey fellow sheep we deserve hell fire, it is only by the grace of God that we inherit the Kingdom of heaven.
The church has become like Hollywood, each person clamoring over the other to be come the most important. Every one wants to be seen as doing something greater for the kingdom of heaven.
Don’t those poor folks know that the true sheep can smell a wolf a mile off.
They are digging a pit for others, that they have fallen into themsleves.
They have placed themselves on a pedistal from which they shall tumble.
Luke 14:11 "For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. "
There are now schools where for a price you can earn your title of Bishop. Wolves in training!
What happened to Holy Ghost anointed and sent preachers?
I fear folks that for the most part they are a thing of the past.
I used to wonder as I read Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” who would have the boldness and gaul to speak to our Lord in this manner.
Now folks I know who they are, the ego ridden wolves of this age.
This blog is designed to make you "think". Also to encourage, exhort, edify and "Warn" the saints of God as we see the day of The Lord on the horrizon.

Yes, Helen, it seems that everyone wants to be leaders these days. There are so many Christian courses in leadership training, that I wonder who will be left for them to lead?? James 3:1 carries a careful warning, that these 'masters' and teachers will receive greater judgment.
