The Enemy Is The Author Of Confusion

The following is a Word the Lord gave me for a friend a few months ago, and I happened upon it today, when I needed it! Isn’t God awesome!
In fact as I was initially reading it, I thought, “Oh that’s good, I wonder who wrote that.”, no that’s not old age, that’s the Holy Spirit, when He gives you something it has not come from your mind, but from the throne room of Heaven. He gave it to me initially for someone else, yet knowing that I was going to need it today, Praise God, Amen! :

If it's one thing the enemy wants us to be it is confused; confused about our past confused about our future and confused about our position in Christ. If he can keep us in a state of confusion then we can’t keep our focus on The Lord. If he can keep us dwelling in our past and the bad things that happened to us, or the bad things we have done, he will succeed in launching us into the depths of depression, guilt and every other negative and demeaning emotion possible.

God on the other hand knew from the beginning that He was going to birth us into our individual circumstances. For Him it was in order that no matter what the circumstance was He chose for us, that He would be able (if we submitted our will to Him) to make us victorious over the enemy of our souls, make us overcomers.

It’s all about our belief in Jesus Christ, it’s all about our faith in Him. The devil wants to bring us low so he can steel our faith, and Jesus wants to trust in Him, and keep our faith. It’s the age old battle for our eternal souls.

The reason God told us to keep our eye single to look neither to the left or to the right, was because He knew how the messenger of Satan would buffet us, how he would remind us of our past, of our failures, of our short comings.

I have learned to put the past behind me where it belongs, there is nothing I can do about my past, (except lend forgiveness to those who hurt me, and accept the forgiveness that Christ has extended to me), but I can do something about today. That is why the Lord says there is sufficient evil in today to battle against, in other words, yesterday is gone, today is here, tomorrow is in the Lords hands, because none of us has a promise of tomorrow….Amen.”

Addition today to the above. My grandma used to say, “My dear you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.”
You can give people the Word of God, you can show them the way, it’s up to them if they accept or reject it. Only God can deal with the hearts of men and women.

As we see the day approaching the battle will grow more fierce, the enemy of our souls doesn’t stay silent for to long before he gets on the war path again. That is why it is of the utmost importance that we stay grounded in the Word of God, and stay filled with His Spirit. We need to rid ourselves of any root of bitterness, of any root of unforgiveness. Bitterness will eat us alive and unforgiveness will separate us from God's forgiveness toward us.

James 3:13-18
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.
This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.
For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

So where there is strife there is confusion.
What is the definition of strife?
Bitter sometimes violent conflict or dissension; fight, struggle, discord.
Exertion or contention for superiority.
Discord: lack of agreement or harmony, (as between persons, things, or ideas)
Active quarreling or conflict resulting from discord among persons or factions.

Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

While there are many opinions there is only One Truth, which will remain long after we are all dead and gone. The Truth will never pass away. God's Spirit bears witness to The Truth in the souls of the children of God.

1 Corinthians 14:32-33
For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

How do you judge dreams, prophecies and visions and words given by different people, when one may interpret it one way, and someone else another way?
You let that dream, vision, prophecy be judged by the Spirit filled prophets and by the Word of God…Amen

I thank God for those who do get on their face daily before God, who fast and seek His face, so that they have something to give to the body of Christ. We should all be daily seeking God for a Word from Him. There is only one reason a child of God doesn’t hear and receive from God, they don’t ask, they don’t seek, they don’t knock. We all need to learn how to ask of God that we be not destitute in the days to come..Amen

That was not just a word for you, dear sister! The Lord is so good....I needed to read that myself, and He knew.

Thank you for the good word. In regard to past issues, after hearing a sermon by Bro. David Wilkerson from Time Square Church in NYC. He said he made a list of events in his life and people that had "upset" him over the years; people that had offende him, and those who felt that he had offended them. He took the list of names and brought them before the Father in prayer. He contacted as many of them as he could and apologized and many apologized to him.

This cleared the air in the spiritual realm. I did the same over a year ago. I took the list, maybe 30 or 40 names and organizations and such over my 53 years here on earth and prayed. I asked God to forgive me of my offenses, real or perceived and to please forgive each of them and to remove the pain of what I thought were their offenses toward me.

It is amazing how this cleared the air in my prayer time. All is forgiven, just as He forgave us. I took each think to Him and nailed it to the cross once and for all. When they try to reappear I tell the enemy of our souls, and remind myself, that the blood of Jesus washed them all away.

There are issues that arise even among Brothers and Sisters. They can cause misunderstanding and pain at times. We do not all have the same backgrounds and upbrings. God is rich in His choice of children He calls. Each, I feel have different callings and ministries. All must point to Jesus (Yeshua).

Because of my background with the US Government, I have a bend toward international issues that may offend some. There are many streams but they all must float into ONE RIVER. This river is Christ.

In that regard, I have also, at your recommendation, started my own blog, (I think it is working!)
It is -

Please visit it if you would. I would feel honored. Have a great week in Him!

This blessed me alot to read. The enemy does wants to take our peace, take our foundation so we may fall like he did. Misery loves company so anything to try and take us captive wether it be by pressing the law upon us (like it has any real weight) or reminding us of our shortcomings. He will try and take our faith which gives us our precious peace. Looking in the past and condemning ourselves is not from God. He does not condemn those who are made free. It says to have faith in His promises, so we MUST not let go of that promise of FREEDOM he gave us by sending Christ. Let no man call unclean what has been made clean. We are free indeed, and we live it out daily by being forgiven and showing God's grace by forgiving others; thus not having to carry that painful burden of strife. We don't go back to the old man. Thank you for posting this, it reminded me how amazing God is, His profound love that sets us free and renews us (which only He can give). He has so much for His people. If only there were more people with a heart after true love. And the liberty it brings.
Love in Christ
