Some Who Exibit Jezebels Traits

The Controlling Spirit of Jezebel

Those with a Jezebel spirit portray themselves as being "All knowing" as if they are the only ones who hear directly from God, and have an intimidating personality. They have an overwhelming urge to control others, and a need to dominate, this is as the sin of witchcraft. Jezebels also have a seducing spirit.
Jezebels seek to silence the true prophets of God, to cut them off from the people.
They also have an idolatrous and murderous spirit. They often will refuse to stand against abortion, or even speak against it, that is the dead give a way of the murderous Jezebel spirit.
They often are for divorce or are divorced.
I am not suggesting here that every divorced woman is a Jezebel, let me make that clear. They are hard of heart, though they may appear otherwise. They are overly concerned with their appearance, and like to make themselves up.
As Jesus spoke to the church at Thyatira, He said the following:
Revelation 2:20-23
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Do Not Sound A Trumpet Before You Saints!

Is it important to you that people know what you do for the Lord?
Do you constantly feel the need to tell others of your work or your financial giving for the Lord?
These things ought not to be saints of God, yet I have seen it with some.
The word of God says don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Read Matthew 6:1-7 saints and refresh your mind on these things.
There are even Pastors that behave in this manner, they are under the mistaken idea that the Word of God doesn't apply to them, they are wrong. There are pastors who hold themselves up above the flock, these things ought not to be saints. We are all a part of the same body, though each may have a different function, we all have need of one another. We are but brothers and sisters in the Lord, there is but one shepherd and we are all His sheep.
There are those who don’t want to be joined in ministry with another, because they desire all the glory and praise for themselves, these things ought not to be saints. There is not one greater than the other saints, this is a deception of the devil.
Jesus said He was a friend who sticks closer than a brother, He does not separate Himself from His flock, and He is somebody.
Let another’s lips praise you saint of God and not your own.
Galatians 6:3
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
The thing with the Parisees saints was they looked righteous, outwardly they looked devoutly religious. They were great at preaching righteousness to the people, but as for applying the Truth to themselves, well they believed themselves to be above that.
2 Peter 1:5-9And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
7And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
8For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Matthew 23:
1Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.
5But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,
7And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
8But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.
