Church What's With The Obesssion With Money?

Oh Dear, Ahhh... I just happened by chance, (no I take that back, not by chance... by the leading of the Spirit of God), to be scanning the idiot box momentarily this morning and I ran across a preacher promising to send you miracle spring water if you just call his 800 number right now..he guarantees that you will get all the money you need..his whole spiel it seemed as I watched was money money money..people testified how after getting his miracle spring water, they got thousands of dollars...Dear God in Heaven help us, we are wretched and blind and naked, we are covetous dogs, we are a shame to the kingdom of God.

Jesus tells us not to be concerned with the things of the world; like what we are going to eat, drink, wear, or where we are to be housed...we are to concern ourselves with the things of the kingdom, we are not to heap up treasures for ourselves on this earth where moths and dust corrupt them and thieves break in and steal them.
Folks we can't love money and love God, He who loves the world and the things of the world the love of God is not in him.

1 Timothy6:6-12
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Oh my, oh my, how this Peter POPOFF...yes folks that's his name and one of these days God is going to POP Him off ...right into hell fire. He appeared to be healing people, and claimed to be a man of God, full of the Holy Spirit....that's not what the Holy Spirit was telling me folks, this is one who doesn't know or fear God, his speach betrays him, his actions deny a Holy God.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

I can't believe the gullibility of some folks it is just frightening, it is horrifying actually. When God brings His coming Judgment upon the western world church, we will know exactly why He did it.
Oh God keep our hearts from covetousness, open our eyes to what your desire for us truly is, lest when you come we be found wanting.
