This is the Word the Lord put on my heart to share today...such an easy phrase to speak, "Weary not in well doing" but what does it really entail?
Self-less living!
Self must die, our flesh and its lusts must be crucified. Self-denial must be in the forefront...We must set aside anger, malice, unforgiveness, jealousy, selfishness, self-centeredness. We must look to the needs of others, we must show compassion toward others, for surely we all need the LORDS MERCY!
It means patience, it means endurance...patient endurance of what the LORD has set before you. Patience and endurance in, and through, all situations, whether it be caring and enduring with and for a friend or a loved one, whether it be longsuffering through any circumstance. For if we do not faint at what the LORD has set for us to endure, then in due season, we shall reap His blessing!
As the LORD once stressed to me.."Your life was not given you that you may enjoy it, but rather that you would learn to endure what I have set before you."
Life is full of struggles for the saints of God, many and varied struggles of diverse kinds, yet we are to hold fast to our Faith and trust in God, and know that "All things work together for good to them that love God and to them that are the called according to HIS purpose."
Saints of God at times you may not see a purpose to your daily struggles, or that situation in which the LORD has allowed you to dwell, but rest assured HE does have a purpose in it, and it is for your eternal good...and for the benefit of HIS Kingdom and for HIS GLORY!
We are not to lean to our own understanding saints, for our understanding can lead us down a wrong path, but we must trust God, and lean on, and learn of HIM. Look constantly and consistently on HIS example, which was set for us to follow. Take pleasure in your sufferings saints knowing that they are working the fruit of the Spirit to perfection in you, and you will receive the reward if you stand fast in HIM!
Be willing saints, to take up your cross daily and follow HIM.
God bless you saints!
