Ahhhhhhh.. saints, it concerns me that I see Americans, and the world, under strong denial and delusion.
What is even more concerning to me, is the denial and delusion, I am starting to see within the thing that calls itself the Church. "Just pray” they say, “and we can change the way Obama thinks”…as grandma used to say, “Wishful thinking my dear”.
Listen saints, God has given the world just what it has been crying for, “A King,”
and currently they are jubilant, they are ecstatic, they are beside themselves with joy. However their laughter and their joy shall be turned into mourning.
People believe it is the governments job to take care of them, no it is God's job.
People want to have their mammon, they love their mammon, well you can not serve two masters.
The church has also been crying, over the prospect of loosing its worldly goods, its man made kingdoms, and its influence over the sheep. So what are they doing, they are begging the sheep to pray, so God will change His mind, so they can hold fast to this world.
God allowed plenty of warnings before the election of this man, and people refused to acknowledge them, they kept their heads firmly planted in the sand. They refused to hear.
My grandma used to say, "Show me your friends and I'll tell you what you are!"
Well God showed us Obama's friends, unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, Racist Jeremiah Wright, New age prophetess Oprah Winfrey...to name a few, and would we heed His warnings...NO!
Do you know that 43% of Christians voted for this president elect? They wanted to save their mammon. They see him as their messiah, their ever present help in time of trouble. Oh and they are in trouble alright...with God Almighty, the Most High!
I thought that the blessed hope for the church was the return of Jesus Christ to rule and reign upon this earth. However it seems that for many in the Church that is not the case. They would rather He postpone His return so that they can get their full of the world.
Their problem is they can’t let go of the world, nor the things of the world, they are hanging on with all their might.
I truly believe they will even call for the saints to pray away the anti-Christ….no I am not saying at this point who the anti-Christ is…but in essence that is what they are doing. Everyone wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die to get there!
Why do the saints of God not groan to be with their saviour as His disciples did?
Oh how the mind set of the saints has changed:
2 Corinthians 5:1-8
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
4For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Ahhhhhhh…I once had an assemblies of God pastor tell me (during a discussion on the end times) “Who do you think you are, we don’t even have to have an Antichrist we can just pray and believe and take authority and hold him back”
Ahhhh…saints just who do we think we are? The Word of God shall be fulfilled, He has forewarned us of this day, He has a plan, He has all authority, and He shall bring it to pass.
We are living in the last of the last days saints and the sooner we drop the denial the better off we will be. Look saints it doesn’t thrill my flesh, the hour in which we are living, but saints my soul rejoices … because I know my Savior lives and He is soon to return.
I give you a quote from an e-mail I received just today, actually via two dear friends of mine.
This quote is in the context of some wanting God to change Obama’s heart. This is a worthy goal I must say. However the man is a socialist, and has plans to enslave us all, men, women and children, to the government. To attempt to pray to change the mans heart so we can remain in our current condition is in denial of the day and hour in which were living. It is I believe praying against God's will. ".......the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will." Daniel 4:32 God doesn't make mistakes!!!

“So, dear friend, it is not a time to despair; it is time to pray with vision and with hope. If all you see is a "cloud the size of a man's hand," then pray with the faith of Elijah that a mighty outpouring of grace may fall. Let us give God the chance to bring into our world a blessed, prayed-for reality." End Quote

What is that reality-a better world?
Listen that cannot come to pass until Jesus comes, wake up and smell the Java saints of God!!!
Don't allow yourselves to be deceived by these false prophets who speak such warm words to you.
Pray the will of God come to pass not our will, pray the will of God be done not our will.

I understand Sister Helen your assesment of the situation we are in. The line is being drawn in the sand by the Holy Spirit; there is much deception and confusion in what is called the Church today; and in Messianic Congregations also....I want to fall down on the side as someone who continues to pray for our leaders; however evil they may turn out to be; the PRAYER I SPEAK OF (clerification is needed here) is that God would shut down the evil they intend to do, prayer that Israel will be saved no matter what decisions are made in world capitals (and Israel will be saved because God said it would!) and prayer that God would somehow send, or place some people that know Him around the power circles in Washington DC as important decisions are made.
The Bible instructs us to pray for those in authority; it does not say pray for their success in evil deeds; but to pray none the less. These are not my words, but God's.
Yeshua appeared out of the blue to Saul (Paul) as he was on his way to persecute those of the Way. He can do the same with President elect Obama.
I do not want to stand in judgment and have God ask me if I prayed for this man's, our leader's repentenance. I want to be able to say, yes, I did as you commanded in your revealed word.
This is one of the most difficult prayer subjects I have ever come acoss. May God help me and guide me in my prayers in this regard.
Thank you for your email. Have a great week thinking upon Him.
Brother Randy, Bless you for inspring another blog...lol
Yes The Bible instructs us to obey and pray for those who are in authority over us in the Lord because they are ruling over us for good, and they will answer unto the Lord. Obama will not be ruling over us for good neither is he a man of God, there in lies the difference. God bless, watch for the blog to come on How we are to pray in this hour..Seed
I commend you Helen for speaking the Truth. It's sad that more aren't doing so.
Bird's of a feather surely do flock together. Nothing good can come out of Obama the man unless he repents. He is too much of a power player to do that. He's a smooth talker, people are falling for him, and all he want's is total control, and full power, and he is now in the position to get just what he wants and the people put him there.
I personally believe that we should be praying for Our leaders within the Church of Jesus Christ, the True Israel of the Spirit. Those in the wilderness like yourself who are making a difference by standing in the midst of this evil world serving other's in prayer and speaking truth no matter what the cost.
May we pray that we continue to press into Jesus like never before and that we aren't caught up in the deception, lies or the snares of the evil and corupt world leaders who want nothing less then to destroy us.
We need the prayers of our like-minded Brothers and Sisters. These are those that we should be obeying, the ones witin our camp.
I don't believe the Word is speaking of worldly government leaders. We are not of this world and should have nothing to do with it nor be concerned with what is going on within it mainly because we know there is nothing good about it.
Why pray for evil leaders who are vile and fit the profile of an antichrist? That's like praying for satan to change. We know them by their fruit, do we not? It's late in the hour, the end is upon us. The sky is about to bust wide open with the Lord and a cloud of witnessess with Him at any time, nothing is hindering Him, all has been fulfilled.
There is no time to change this world. We can't take back the cities or the streets. What is important....is to make sure our houses are in order, tomorrow may be too late. There is no time for change come that last day, the Day of Our Lord.
Yes Deborah, we must make sure above all things that our hearts are right before God.
Yes Randy, we must pray against any evil that our leaders (who do not know God) are set to do against us. May God have Mercy on us all, and may He guide and direct our prayers as we earnestly seek to pray His will in all these matters...Amen
God bless you all

PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA-Thoughts
1 TIMOTHY 2:1-6
"I (the Apostle Paul to Timothy) exhort therefore, that first of all, that
* supplications
* prayers
* intercessions
* and giving of thanks
be made for all men; for kings and for all that are in authority;
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."
"For this is good and acceptable in the site of God our Saviour."
These are not my feelings; they are God's commands to those who want to obey Him. For those of us who know our history, the mighty, godless Roman Empire ruled by dictators who opposed anything that did not worship their established gods, were in power when the Apostle, inspired by the Holy Spirit wrote these words.
This is the same Roman Empire that will be ressurected, according to the prophecies in the Book of Daniel and Revelation. Yet, we are instructed to make supplication, intercession, prayer and giving of thanks to all men and those in authority. How to do this? We need the Spirit of God to know how to do so properly. It will be a new learning experience in my prayer life and petitions to the Father.
I think the instructions in First Timothy are pretty self explanitory.
I am sure my opinion regarding the election of Senator Obama to the Presidency will offend most; but perhaps some may understand. I voted for Senator McCain and Governor Palin. My vote for them was a vote for a continuation of what I feel would be their opposition to same sex marriage and their pro life stance.
I am uncertain of what their policy would be in regard to Israel; probably if backed against the wall, they would abandon Israel to save our own necks. The day of sticking up for ones friends seems to be a thing of years gone by.
I did not vote for Senator Obama because of his record of supporting abortion and gay rights. These social issues are absolutely opposed to what the Bible says are proper human behavior; no excuse or explaination is needed for those who are aquainted with Biblical standards. If not for these two issues, I could have voted for Senator Obama. He has a record of being pro union, pro worker, proactive for the poor and outcast of our society. I could support a candidate in that regard. But the social "gospel" of a right to do what one feels with no consequence is absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.
I did not like voting for Senator McCain in particular because I feel he represented what I feel to be a cool disregard for those among us who are trapped in poverty and will probably not recover in this economic downturn. For me, he represented the "banker class" who have just received 700 billion taxpayer dollars, borrowed mostly from nations who do not wish us well, and even now, these same bankers are sitting on the money that was given to them to ease the credit market! How could I vote for someone who represents this kind of behavior? I do not know; but the little bit of social consensiousness that remains in America got possibly one last vote from my household.
Given the history of African American citizens in this nation, it is an amazing thing that Senator Obama was elected to this position! There are statements on record that I absolutely abhore made by supposed African American spokespersons. I feel these few are on the outer fringe of the majority. Both white, hispanic and other groups are guilty in kind of such attitudes. None are of God. And, all need God!
I thought of the Bible verse where Jesus speaks to one of the Seven Churches in Revelation and He admonishes them to "strengthen what remains..." Not much remains as far as Godliness in our nation or politics.
In Israel's history God repeatedly relented of their judgment when they repented of their sins. Oft times His judgment is what caused them to turn in repentance. God would raise up a leader like Samson, Deborah, or a Gideon to deliver the nation.
Are we beyond deliverance? Is there still an opportunity for our nation to turn about face and restart saying the LORD'S PRAYER in our schools, posting the TEN COMMANDMENTS again in our public square, and allowing our military chaplin's to use the Name of Jesus in their prayers to our soldiers on the battlefield and in hospitals? I think these questions kind of answer my question as to whether we are beyond deliverance.
Regarding President-elect Obama - He is our President-elect. I am praying that somehow, someway, God would post Godly men in important positions of government that will influence Mr. Obama to somehow make Godly decisions. Given his record, this may not happen; but anything is possible from God's standpoint. In an act of absolute mercy, God may answer this prayer. At least when the final talley is given in the heavens, I want to go on record of praying for my leaders in obedience to God's Word.
Defeat of someone we voted for is a bitter pill to swallow; it always has been for me, at least. In a Biblical context, if I am obedient to His command in Ephesians 4:31,32 to "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice; And be ye kind one to another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you..."
As a footnote, I realize that these words were written as the early Christians were soon to be fed to the lions, hung on a cross, and murdered en mass for their beliefs. Will we be able to look them in the eye when we get to our eternal home and say that we also, obeyed the Scripture to be a chosen people, known for our love and compassion and intercession for the lost of the world?
In these last of the last days, we will have to look the devil eyeball to eyeball and know that we know that we are in Him, and be confident and fully assured that we are in Him. He who is in us, lives through us, and manifests His image to us will give us the ability to face any angel, demonic force, principality or power with victory.
Christ's victory came through the cross. Why should we expect anything different?
Pick up your cross and follow Him! If the time comes to lay down on the cross do not hesitate; He gave His all for us, we may give our all for Him.
