SUV'S ON THE ALTAR!

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS SAINTS OF GOD? YES YOU CAN!

America, we are a nation given over to covetousness, without repentance! Look what the church is doing in Detroit ... http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-159457

GOD IS TEARING DOWN YOUR IDOLS-And church your so blind that you cannot see or understand. Your lust for the things of this world have brought you to this place in history.

Big time evangelists have lead the way for all this covetousness that is leading companies to ruin. How long do you suppose its going to be before, let's say for example, that KENNETH COPELAND puts his JETS on the altar? Covetousness leads to ruin!

Daniel 12:10
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

These people and those like them have broken the commandment of God that says-THOU SHALT NOT COVET- and they have taught the people of God to covet by their example-and their judgment is upon them, and all those who follow in their steps.

“YOU TAUGHT MY PEOPLE TO COVET, YOU CHOKED THEM ON THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD" - This will be the indictment of many a pastor and evangelist today, they make merchandise out of God’s people.

2 Peter 2:3
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words (not genuine) make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

Psalm 10:3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

This quote from the article says it all:
"This week, lives are hanging above an abyss of uncertainty as both houses of Congress decide whether to extend a helping hand."

Lives are hanging above an abyss alright, but Congress can do nothing to save them.

Mark 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

What does repentance mean to you?

Repentance is not spoken of in this world we live in today. All we hear about today is how to make your life better. And that is not what the Bible speaks about.

God hates sin and we have to see that we have sined againist a Holy God, and the only way to see that we are in need of a Savior is for God to show us.

2 Corinthians 7:10
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Psalms 34:18
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psalms 51:17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

Isaiah 57:15
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Isaiah 66:2
For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

When we truly are sorry that we have sined against God only then will true repentance come to us. Then God will change our hearts.

Repentance is not a one time thing.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord he died to save us from our sins that we may have life with Him.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
