The Finger of God Part 3

When the 7th seal is opened there was silence in heaven for about 30min.

An angel with a golden censer is seen standing before the altar of God to offer up, incense, upon the golden altar which is before the throne of God. The incense is offered along with the prayers of all saints, and the prayers of the saints ascend up to God along with the incense.

What are the prayers of the saints unto God?
They are a sweet smelling savor unto the LORD!
Because they are prayers prayed in Faith, in Spirit and in Truth, in Trust in Honor unto the LORD, because HE is our all in all!

Then the angel fills the censer with fire from the altar and casts to the earth. This will cause much thunder and lightening, and an earthquake.

Then the 7 angels are given 7 trumpets and prepare to sound them.

1st Trumpet - Hail and Fire mingled with blood are cast upon the earth and
1/3 of part of the trees and all green grass is burnt up.

2nd Trumpet -A great mountain burning with fire is cast into the sea and
1/3 part of the sea becomes blood
1/3 part of the creatures in the sea die
1/3 part of the ships are destroyed

3rd Trumpet –A great star falls from Heaven, it falls upon
1/3 part of the rivers and the fountains of waters
The name of the star is “Wormwood” and a
1/3 part of the waters become “Wormwood”
Men die because the water is poisoned.

This is reminds me of the plagues of Egypt, and remember the plagues did not affect Israel. So for the saints of God to still be here during this time period, it would be no hard thing for God to keep us.

4th Trumpet-
1/3 part of the sun
1/3 part of the moon
1/3 part of the stars-are darkened,

Day and night do not shine for
1/3 part of either time.

Then an angel is heard as he flies through the heavens saying “Woe, Woe, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth because of the 3 trumpets which are yet to sound”

5th Trumpet – A star falls from Heaven,

And the 5th angel is given the key to the bottomless pit, and he opens it and smoke arises as if from a great fiery furnace. The sun and the air are darkened because of the smoke from the pit.
Then locusts come out of the smoke upon the earth, and they are given power.
They are commanded not to hurt the grass or any green thing or any tree.
(These would be the green things that were not of the 1/3 part already destroyed)

So who is in control during all these things that are to come upon the earth?

GOD!

They are given permission to hurt men, torment men for 5 months but not those men who have the seal of God in their foreheads. This is the 1st Woe

Again here God is protecting His people as He did in Egypt!

In those days men will seek death and will not find it, they shall desire to die and not be able to. The tormenting locusts have a king over them, the angel of the bottomless pit, Satan.

6th Trumpet – The 6th Angel is told to loose the four angels which are bound in the great Euphrates River.

These Four angels are prepared for – 1year, 1month, 1 day, and 1 hour to slay 1/3 of all men -they do this by rising up a 2million man army.

This great slaughter is still not enough to convince those idolaters who are left, they will refuse to repent of their wickedness, sorcery's, murders, fornication or their thefts.

It is like Abraham told the Rich man, “Your spiritually dead, rebellious relatives would not be persuaded to repent, even if one were to be raised from the dead and sent to testify of God to them.!”

Hell is created for the fearful, the unbelieving and all who do wickedness.

The Finger of God! Part 2

I don't pretend to be some great bible scholar, so bear with me. I am just showing you what the LORD has shown me thus far.

In Revelation chapter 5 we see the 24 elders (the 12 disciples and the heads of the 12 tribes of Israel) and all the saints who have died in Faith, and in Christ, through the centuries until now, gathered saying,

“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing!”

In Revelation chapter 6 we see the opening of the first 6 of the 7 seals

Seal 1 - A conqueror is sent forth to conquer

Seal 2 - Power is given to one to take peace from the earth

Seal 3 - Famine is loosed in the whole earth

But, this Spirit rider is told not to hurt the oil and the wine!

This could be literal, or it could be referring to those filled with the oil and wine of the Holy Spirit. It could also be referring to the sons of oil/the 2 witnesses, but not to digress.

Seal 4 - Death and Hell are loosed over a 4th part of the earth to kill by sword and starvation and with death and with the beasts of the earth.

Seal 5 - At the opening of this seal the souls of those who had killed for the Word of God and their testimony, to which they held, are witnessed crying out to God asking when He is going to avenge their blood, on those who are still upon the earth. They are told to rest a little while until *their fellow servants/saints also and their brethren/saints that should be killed as they were should be fulfilled.

*So this clearly puts saints with God, and saints still on the earth…both groups worthy of the same exact eventual eternal resurrection.

Seal 6 - A great earthquake takes place, and the sun becomes black and the moon becomes as blood. The stars of heaven fall and the heaven departs as a scroll when it is rolled together. Every mountain and island is moved out of their place.

This is when men try to hide themselves in the dens and rocks of the mountains, and say to the mountains, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of God and the Wrath of the Lamb. For the day of His Wrath is come and who shall be able to stand!”

After these things, 4 angels are seen standing on the four corners of the earth restraining the wind…then another angel is seen ascending from the east having the seal of the living God….and he cries unto the 4 angels who are holding back the wind, to not hurt the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees until *the servants of God/saints- are sealed in their foreheads.

*Incidentally these servants of God/saints are worthy of the same exact eventual eternal resurrection as we are also. They too will be raised from the dead incorruptible!

The number of saints sealed is 144 thousand, out of the 12 tribes of Israel. The Word is very specific and detailed as to who these saints are. Revelation 7

After the sealing of the 144 thousand, who will be redeemed from the earth see Revelation chapter 14, (*and who also are worthy of the eternal resurrection)

We then read that there is seen in Heaven *a great multitude of all nations, kindred’s, people and tongues. They are wearing white robes and have palms in their hands, and are Praising God!
It is said of this great multitude, that they came out of great tribulation, and have been made white in the blood of the Lamb, therefore they serve God day and night in His temple.

*These to are saints and worthy of the eventual eternal resurrection which occurs at the sounding of the last trump,the seventh trumpet,sounded by the seventh angel. Then the *mystery of God will be finished! (we will look at this in part 3)

How does one escape what is to come upon the earth?
By death! To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD!

Of the 12 disciples all but one died a martyr’s death.
Saints down through the ages have given their lives for their Faith, and the word of their testimony. Many today are giving their lives for the Gospel and the word of their testimony. Does this make them second class saints, akin to what are classed by some as the "Left behind" saints? NO!
Many will yet have to give their lives. Some will die a natural death before Christ returns and there by escape the great tribulation and the reign of the anti-Christ. Some will be alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.

If you have read “Foxes Book of Martyrs” then you have read the account of many a precious saint, since Christ and His disciples who also have given their lives. They shall all be a part of the eventual eternal resurrection of the saints. There is only one instance at the second coming of Christ where the dead in Christ will be raised incorruptible and those who are alive and remain will be changed in a moment in the twinkling of an eye-for it is appointed to all men once to die…and then all saints shall receive immortal bodies for eternity….perfect love casts out all fear of death….these mortal bodies cannot put on immortality that is why our old bodies must see death…flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God….
So all those who think that they are going to get out of this world by escaping physical death are sadly mistaken…but they have nothing to fear!....

End of part 2

The Finger of God! Part 1

It saddens me, that many Christians are interested in prosperity, controversy, or the latest conspiracy theory, but for the most part, not the least bit interested in learning about perseverance, endurance, long suffering, and patience.

Many of today's Christians think they are above ever having to suffer any type of persecution at all. And as for tribulation well, that's just plain out of the question. They believe that they are just going to go from their air conditioned pews, straight to Glory any day now, and they will see no tribulation!

The minute anyone brings up the concept of God's people having to suffer, they are accused of having a martyrs complex, and told that God's people are not appointed to His wrath. That is true, because God is not going to destroy His own people by His wrath. But He is going to allow them to go through tribulation. The wrath of eternal destruction by fire, comes at the end of the tribulation!

The time of Tribulation and the destroying of the wicked by fire are two separate events.
God has proven that He can keep His own through the fire and be with them in the fire!

He kept the three Hebrew children in the fiery furnace; Christ was with them in the furnace. He didn't take them out of the furnace; He was with them in the furnace and protected them from any harm at all.

The Church will be with God in their glorified bodies in total safety when he renews the earth by fire.
Just as Noah was in the ark, when God renewed the earth by water....just as he took Lot out of Sodom before its total destruction.

During the time that God's plagues are poured out, during the great tribulation, His people will be divinely protected, just as the Hebrew children were protected from the plagues of God's wrath that were poured out on Egypt.

Israel was kept through plagues and through death, and yes believe it or not they were kept right there in the same City that the Death angel passed through...they weren't whisked off to a different place....they were divinely kept by the blood of the spotless Lamb the power of Almighty God as the death angel passed over.

Exodus 7 God killed the fish and He poisoned the water supply of Egypt.

Exodus 8 Then He smote the land with frogs, and He infested the land with lice both man and beast.

Exodus 8:19 the magicians got it!

Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

Listen, in the last times, some people will see and know God is moving on the earth and still harden their hearts, and stiffen their necks, and curse Him to His face.

God sent swarms of flies upon the people of Egypt, yet He drew a line and He made a difference between His people and the people of Egypt. In these last days God is going to make the difference clear between His people and the people of the world.

Exodus 8:22-23

22. And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

23. And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.

Does God change? NO!

In Exodus 9 God again gave warning to Pharaoh, who yet still hardened his heart against the living God!

God then said he would send a grievous murrain-(hoof and mouth type disease) upon the horses, asses, camels, oxen and sheep of Egypt. Yet at the same time this was the promise to Israel, His people:

Exodus 9:4
And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children’s of Israel.

He then sent pestilence and the cattle of Egypt died, but the cattle of Israel did not….

Then God sent boils upon both man and beast in Egypt.

God hardened Pharaohs heart, and did all these things that man might understand the power and authority of Almighty God and that there was none like HIM in all the earth!

Then God sent rain and great and grievous hail, hail that killed both man and beast on whom it fell. Thunder and fire came with the hail it was so great, it crushed the herbs and felled the trees.

Exodus 9:26
Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail

Yet when it was over Pharaoh again hardened his heart against God!
Pharaoh was not one who was willing to humble himself before God. He was a lot like many of the world’s leaders today.

So God promised to send a plague of locusts…every plant that escaped the plague of hail would be consumed by the locusts…

In the midst of this Israel held a feast unto the LORD, they honored God!

God did these things in the land of Egypt and showed His power over Pharaoh, for an example to us that would follow generations later…to show His power, His Glory, His Mercy, His ability to keep His people.

God raised Pharaoh up that His Glory could be seen in all the earth. God raises up leaders and He takes them down, and He causes them to do His will, even if he has to put a hook in their jaw!
Exodus 9:16
And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to show in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

Next God caused a great darkness, a darkness that could be felt, a literal and a spiritual darkness, to fall upon Egypt. But there was light in all the dwellings of Israel.

In the midst of this God gave Israel favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so much so that they gave of their best possessions to Israel for their journey out of Egypt.

Yet Pharaoh would not let Israel go….so God sent one last and final plague upon them…the plague of death to the first born in every household in Egypt…except those of Israel who had been forewarned to place the blood of the Lamb without spot or blemish….upon the overhead portion of their door ways…

God said, “When I see the blood I will pass over you.”

The blood has not lost it’s power saints, it has not lost its power, and God shall pass over you, and you shall not suffer eternal death….because of the blood of the spotless Lamb!

The Lord shall always keep and deliver His people, because God does not Change!

In Part 2 we are going to look at the plagues that God will pour out during the great tribulation.

And examine just what the plagues of Revelation are, during the time of the great tribulation, which is to try all the earth?

We will examine why the earth is to be tried?

The great tribulation is actually God's Mercy still at work, because it is yet an opportunity for men to acknowledge and Glorify God!

God’s people are not appointed unto His Wrath, but they are appointed to tribulation, much tribulation! But they shall come forth as Gold!
