God's Point of View!
Many claim to seek "Truth" but just who's "truth" are they seeking, and who's truth are they embracing?
We are not to do what we believe is right in our own eyes, as those who perish, but we are to pay heed to "The Word of Truth" .
The Word of Truth says "love not the world nor the things of the world"...so if we love the things of the world...if we are a fan of this one and that one...and we look for pleasure here and pleasure there... and we have this interest and that interest, this hobby and that.... just what time is there left for God?
Does He get what's left of your time, after you have indulged in your pleasures?
1 John 2:15-17
15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
The Word of Truth says we cannot love the world and love God also.
He will not take second place in our life. He won't be just one of many of our idols, one of our many hobbies and interests...He is The Most High God.
What do you glory in, your talents and your abilities, or do you glory in the Lord?
Do you recognise that your talents and abilities come from God to be used for His glory and not your own. Do you understand that your life is given you that you may bring glory to Him and not yourself?

If you are being used of God to minister to others, is it your ministry or is it HIS?
We have seen many ministers over the years who have have become arrogant and puffed up as their ministry has been allowed to expand. They have believed the adulation that they receive from those who seek to follow men. They often have wandered from the truth of God's Word and taught for doctrine the commandments of men. What is worse, many have prophesied from their own hearts, and given words from their own hearts, and not from God.
If we think ourselves to be something we deceive ourselves, and are nothing.
If we are anything, it is Christ in us, not anything of our own.
If we truly love our brother, do we water down the truth, so that it may be palatable enough for them to accept? If we become enemies for the sake of the truth so be it, for we shall all answer to God.

Are we to offer up strange fire unto the Lord?
Do we take time to seek God for what is acceptable to Him, or do we just say well I enjoy this so I will offer it up to the Lord, surely He will accept this also?
I love you saints, and I shall stand accountable before God for what I do with this life God has given me, and what I share with you, as you will also stand accountable for what you share with others. We are not to seek to be acceptable to man but to God.
What are you willing to give in exchange for your soul?
Turn from any appearance of evil saints of God while there is yet time.

Some very good advice here sister Helen, thanks for sharing this.
I think there are so many people who claim to be in the body of Christ, that has no clue they are still wanting the world.
My prayer is that I rest in the Almighty God, and my eyes stay on His,leading and directing me in all His ways.
