The Signs and Wonders of Deceiving Spirits

I was going to post a video here of Patrica King in extasy over Joshua Mills and his manifestations, but thought better of it. ....Why?

Because it seems that the seducing spirits in some of today's false prophets is so strong that unless a person is totally grounded in Jesus Christ, they are going to be deceived by these false prophets.

Thousands of people have been flocking to "Conferences" across America where they are introduced to "the supernatural". They are assured that these things are of God, and evidently that assurance is enough for most.

The false prophets holding these conferences are manifesting, gold dust, sapphire dust, small gems, oil and feathers and who knows what else.

People seem to love this, they get ecstatic about it. Every one and their uncle it seems also is also being visited by angelic beings. Ahhhhhh.....

They tell of orbs of light, so do the UFO-logists, and the mediums in their seances.

If you have happened upon any ghost hunter tv programs, orbs of light are quite often seen captured on video. So orbs of light are supernatural alright, but a demonic manifestation not a Godly one.

It seems that many today are more interested in manifesting "signs and wonders", than manifesting the character and nature of Jesus Christ.

Joshua Mills it seems is as ring leader of this gold dust, oil etc. phenomenon. Patricia King is a promoter of Joshua Mills. Others who are involved in angelic manifestations are of course, Todd Bentley, Matt Sorger, John Crowder and many others.

What is most alarming to me is that these deceivers are going after the young, the unlearned, the venerable amongst us. They are manifesting themselves as hip and trendy, they are seducing spirits, with doctrines of demons.

However many who supposedly have bee saved for years, are also falling prey to this great deception as well.

I had a good friend tell me recently that there had been a couple in their church that follows unceasingly after these "Signs & Wonders". After attending a number of these conferences, the husband had received of the ability to manifest said, "Gold dust."

(You will not find one place in scripture where God manifest himself through gold dust).

It was told me by my friend that this man is a very arrogant yet charismatic person, and that many are being deceived by him. This man is holds bible studies in his home, and after attending

several of these bible studies my friend began to feel uneasy about being there. She went to bed one night after one of these bible studies, and awoke to see a demon standing over her. She awakened her husband to see it, but he could not see what she was seeing. I believe that God opened her eyes to see the true spirit behind the man leading these bible studies.

Long story short, if it were not for the saving and keeping power of the Holy Spirit I believe that my dear friend could have scummed to this satanic deception.

Dear Lord, help this evil generation, open the eyes of those blinded by these false apostles and prophets.

A wicked generation seeketh after signs and there shall be no sign given them but that of Jonah the prophet.

Matt 12:38-39

38. Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

You can read this same admonition in Matthew 16:2-4

The signs that the Word of God speaks of in these last days are those that instill fear in the hearts of men.

Luke 21:25-26

25. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26. Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

The signs and wonders that accompanied the disciples of Christ were for the furtherance of the preaching of the Gospel of Christ. Also to bring people to salvation, and to set the captives free. The disciples did not go about preaching about and focusing on the "signs and wonders". They preached Christ and Him crucified. They were to cast out devils, not invite them into their presence.

Romans 15:9

9. Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

There are also signs spoken of that are committed by false prophets that if it were possible could deceived even the very elect of God.

Matt 24:24-Jesus said

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

May God open the eyes of the deceived ones, and give them the gift of repentance.
