Stay Focused Saints of God!

This is the exhortation I received from my brother in the Lord, who is behind bars, this last Sunday when I visited him. "Stay focused no matter what Satan tries to throw your way."

I have had to put this exhortation into practice this week saints, and I am sure this is an exhortation that you can also apply to the situations that come your way also.

Satan is very busy, tearing down, accusing, discouraging, afflicting and attempting to kill and destroy. Saints we can't afford to dwell on what we see and what we hear we must trust in the Lord, and not lean to our own understanding, knowing that all things are possible with God, and I mean ALL!!!!!! For nothing is impossible with HIM!!!!

If you have failed saint of God, repent, and pray for God's strength to be imparted to you, and stand fast, and continue on the straight and the narrow way.

A Testimony From A Brother Behind Prison Walls!

This last Sunday, I went to visit a young brother in Prison, and came away, as I always do, feeling edified and greatly encouraged by his on going testimony, of what God is doing in and through him.

 

(Please note that I am inserting the word "Blank" for privacy reasons. There are certain companies across the nation, that shop out some of their jobs for prison inmates to do, and pay them, that they may gain work skills, and be able to pay for their room and board while they are in prison. I left the caps, as they were his own inflection.)

I had him e-mail me his testimony on this subject, so that I would get it correct.

I started my new job at “Blank company” about 2 months ago.
Two weeks into the job, the other men were starting to worry about us being only given “part time” work, by the way things were looking.

I then shared with one of the men, about how The LORD had gotten me this job. I explained that I had been praying, for "a minimum wage job", for eight months, and how The LORD on HIS time, provided this job for me, and that GOD doesn't do anything halfway.

 

I also I told this man about me praying for "more work", and now we have so many “Items to package” it is not even funny. They can't believe it, but I can, I know it was GOD that did this.

Anyway, this man was still not saying anything about work, and still hasn’t, but I told him the other day at work, “You know what would be awesome?”
“If they gave us a turkey for thanksgiving and a Christmas party for the five of us, since we are part of the company.”

This man said, “ THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!”

Then, no more than 15 minutes later, as we drove back to the dorm, when we got in the van, the first words out of bosses mouth were, “I got an e-mail from the big boss and he wants’ to know what you guys want to eat on Wednesday, for thanksgiving day!”

I PRAISED IMMEDIATELY, and as I turned around the man that was doubting, was looking at me in AWE!

I said, "Well GLORY BE TO GOD!"

The next day I asked this same man, “Wouldn't it be awesome if after our probation period ends, they started to pay us for holidays, just like they pay others in their company?”

 

He started to say, “THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN” but stopped halfway, and said, “ I TAKE THAT BACK, THAT'S WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE FOOD.”

PRAISE GOD! I believe this man is seeing GOD move, but he doesn't know what to do, so I just continue TO PRAISE GOD, because it's HIM whose doing this.

GOD IS MOVING on my behalf and allowing these men, to see HIM WORK, AND HIS FAITHFULNESS TO THOSE WHO LOVE HIM, AMEN! End Quote.

 

I might add, that this young brother shared with me, that he prays all day long at work, and one of the men asked him, and I quote:

 

"Where do you go while you are working?"

 

The young brother responded, "What do you mean, "Where do I go?"

 

The man responded, "Well you look like you are not here sometimes."

The young brother responded, "I am talking to God."

 

The man responded, "All day?",

 

The brother responded, "Yes",

 

The man responded, "Eight hours, for eight hours you pray?"

The young brother responded, "Yes" end quote

Now this in no way was a boast, this is a most humble young brother, because God brought him to the end of himself nearly a year and a half ago, unto Salvation in Jesus Christ. This is just the truth, and this is how this young brother is sustained by God in his circumstance!

There is nothing, or no one that can separate us from the love of God saints!

I thought of all the "Christians" and family members, who know this young man, but do not "choose" to visit him, and what they are missing out on.

I thought on those "Christians" who would dare not take a morning away from "Church" in order to travel to visit him, and I cried, for they no not what they do.

For it is written:

"Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me."

In Honor Preferring One Another!

God is good saints, need I tell you... I was so very blessed this morning by the observance of two different sisters in the Lord, and a brother, on Face Book, as they allowed God to use them, in one instance, in the area of expounding the truth, and the others in exhortation and edification. They were all sharing out of their love for the Lord and the love of the brethren. I could feel the spirit behind their motivation, and it made my heart leap with joy.

I don't know about you saints, but I rejoice when I see my Father moving through my brethren.

All members of the body are used of God to will, and do His good pleasure. This is something we all need to remember, lest we become so consumed with what the Lord is speaking to us, that we forget to enjoy and even observe, how the Lord moves through our brethren. Also, lest we start thinking that we are the only ones that know, what everyone else should know, but does not, and become puffed up with our own knowledge. We must never begin to hold ourselves up above our brethren; we must remain humble before the Father, as did our Saviour, lest He rebuke us.

I was reminded of these scriptures:
Philippians 2: 3-16
3. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each "esteem" other better than themselves.
4. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on “the things of others”.
5. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6. Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7. But made himself of no "reputation", and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8. And being found in fashion as a man, he “humbled” himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:13-16
13. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of “his good pleasure”.
14. Do all things without "murmurings" and "disputings":
15. That ye may be “blameless and harmless”, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye “shine as lights” in the world;
16. Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

1 John 3:14-16
14. We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15. Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16. Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

Romans 12:1-12
1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
4. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

All the law and the prophets be summed up in this Love God with all your heart, mind and soul, and your neighbor as yourself ...

A brother shared this today: “If any man (or woman) says that he or she has a church or members, ask them this - did you purchase them with your own blood?

Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

As an overseer, I do not dare touch what does not belong to me." End quote

Some times as I have mentioned we can be so full of what the Lord has showed us, or told us, that we do not take the time to acknowledge, what God is revealing through our brethren. Sometimes we just need to take a deep breath, and realize that all members of the body are used of God for His Glory.

At times we will all fall short of what God requires of us, but if we repent, and seek His face, He will forgive us, and He will restore us, and He will use us all for His Glory and His purpose!

Pleasing Men or Pleasing God..

Saints I cannot tell you the number of friends I have lost, since I have been saved, and I am talking professing Christians here saints. But, we are not here to win friends saints of God, but to be pleasing to our Saviour. We must always remember that our Saviour was despised and rejected by those He came to save. He came to His own people, and they received Him not. If others do not consider you worthy of their approval, remember, Jesus is no respecter of persons, and He will always be your friend.

So we must consider it no strange thing when we also are despised and rejected by Christians. If we get to where we have no friends, we must keep going on for our Lord.

When Jesus was in His darkest hour, in his most needful hour, his very disciples slept, while he travailed in agony before the Father. So, what we have to go through on this earth is as peanuts to an elephant, compared to what the disciples of our Lord, or our Lord Himself, had to endure. We have not had to suffer unto death, as of yet.

So be encouraged saints of God, and do not fret over whether men or women accept you, seek to be found approved 0f God, and fight the good fight of faith, and lay hold on eternal life..for this is the hope we have in Christ Jesus...that as He now is, so shall we all be! Come soon Lord Jesus!

Don't Ever Forget Where God Has Brought You From

Saints men can not replace our need for the Holy Spirit, and the written word of God. The Lord has been speaking to me today saints. I realized that I have been listening to too many voices saints, voices that were working to taint my walk with the Lord, and I just needed to get alone with God!

Saints I have to confess, I had gotten off track...off base, because I have listened to the words of wicked men, tainted and jaded men, men who have no mercy toward the lost... men who have become smug in what knowledge they have been given of God. Saints it is easy for men to become puffed up in their limited knowledge of God. I found myself becoming jaded and indifferent to some sinners.

Jesus came to save the lost, the unrighteous the unregenerate, he did not come to save the righteous, but to bring sinners to repentance.... He saved me, and I was wicked....we cannot afford to get a mean and a self righteous spirit in us saints...and it is easy to do saints, because our hearts are desperately wicked. It is the old nature that causes us to digress from the way of Christ our Lord.

This is what the Lord spoke to me:
Love your neighbor, love the sinners, love those who despitefully use you and persecute you...if you love only those who love you, what is that, do not even the publicans in essence love those who frequent their establishments, and fill their pockets?

The sinner has no concept of the longsuffering love of the Lord, the Love of the Lord suffers long and is kind, it is neither haughty or arrogant, it does not think ill of its neighbor, it does not give love with thought of what it may receive in return.

Ye know not what spirit ye are of, when you start to lay down commandments for men, and judge to hastily amongst one another, for the son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them Luke 9:55-56

If people don't want to accept you, don't try and call down fire from heaven on them, pray for them.
This is not the time for God to destroy men in judgment, by bringing fire down from Heaven to consume them. This is the time of God’s Grace and Mercy being extended to mankind.

Why do you call Jesus Lord, if you do not do what he says?
The Highest is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
Do not ever forget where God has brought you from, so that you look down on your brothers your brethren.

But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. Luke 6: 27-29

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

Only You Are Worthy Lord Jesus!

Saints we were created for His pleasure not our own, we are not to be men pleasers, we are to serve God not men.

The four and twenty elders sing a new song, saying, "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people and nation; and hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

We were brought with the price of His shed Blood, we are to glorify God in our bodies and our spirits which are God's.

The angels shall say, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom and strength, and honor, and glory , and blessing"...

There is only one worthy of our Praise, only one worthy of Glory and Honor-Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah!

Then every creature in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them shall say, "Blessing and Honor and Glory and Power To Him The Sits on the Throne and unto The Lamb Forever."

The Love of God is Everlasting!

Saints, as are many of you, I am going through some hard times emotionally, yet I know my Lord sees all, and knows all, and has made provision. I also know that He is in control, and I trust Him.

There are places that we come to, that inspite of our pain, we just need to trust, and seek God, for an even greater measure of Faith. We must remember that He is able to do all things, and He is able to cause us to have the victory in the end.

Saints all the emotional pain and grief, that we all go through here on this earth, will vanish when we see Him. There will be no more grief in Heaven, and we shall be in the presence of the pure Love of God, with our fellow saints and loved ones for all eternity. Any sadness, any grief that we go through here will be compensated, when we feel the everlasting arms of God, embrace us on that day. Anything we have missed out on here, will be recompensed to us there, and we shall bask in the Love of God, and our loved ones (who are saved) and the saints forever. There will be none that shun there, there will be none that do not reach out with gentleness, meekness and kindness there. There will be no loneliness in Heaven.

All the good strength of our emotional loving, with longsuffering, and all good works, and kindness, comes from the heart of God. All the love that is pure, comes from God, for God is Love. He that is unable to experience, and give, and show, and manifest the pure love of God, does not know God.

If you life is minus love here, and I am not speaking of lustful desire, but the pure love that comes only from God, you shall receive a hundred fold times that, in the presence of the Most High and Holy God, and He shall whipe away all tears.

Be encouraged most precious and dear saints, and look up for your redemption draws near!

Romans 5:3 says, “Tribulation worketh patience.” The word worketh means“to accomplish.”

In 2 Corinthians 4:17 we read, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” The word worketh in this verse is the same as in Romans 5:3."

Prayer Request

I covet your prayers saints, my unsaved daughter plans to take our 3 gandsons out of our home, and their school, and move them with her new boyfriend to a different district. This last year & 1/2 , their dad was taken out of their life, they lost their hom, now they will be taken from everything that is familar & secure for them. They do not want to go with her, it is heart wrenching, but she is their mother, and there is nothing we can do legally-BUT GOD!!!!!

Please pray for God to move in this situation, for His Glory, no matter what His decision is, blessed be His Holy name.

When God Closes The Door, No Man Can Open it!

There is an uproar beginning across the land, because some ministers of the Gospel, from other lands, are not being allowed to cross our boarders, here in America.

Mean while the enemies of God have free access and are coming in by the thousands daily. This is the hand of God saints, He has shut the door to one group, and opened the door to His enemies to overrun our land!

While many have slumbered and slept, the enemy has filled our land.

Let God speak peace to your heart those of you who are deeply troubled by this occurrence, know that God is in control.

When God calls us to do Him service, we don’t have to fight our own battles, for He shall fight them for us, and prepare the way for us, and He shall preserve us, and defend us, and we shall prosper in all that we put your hand to do, for His Glory.

When God anoints us to do a work for Him, and a door slams shut in our face, then trust that it is God Who has shut the door….and when a door opens, then know that the Lord is leading us to where we need to go….

No need to kick and scream at the door that is closed to us…no need to lament and wring our hands, for it was closed for His purpose. We must Trust Him.

When God has a mission for us, He shall cause us to accomplish all that He has set for us to do. Know, as with Nehemiah, when he was scorned and despised by the wicked, when God set for him to rebuild Jerusalem, and that as God prospered the way of Nehemiah, so shall he prosper our way, for His set purpose.

THE PRESENT GENERATION KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT ENDURANCE- David Wilkerson 8/25/2010

To endure means "to carry through despite hardships; to suffer patiently without giving up." In short, it means to hold on or hold out. But this word means little to the present generation. Many Christians today are quitters—they quit on their spouses, their families and their God.

Peter addresses this subject by saying, "This is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully" (1 Peter 2:19).

Then he adds, "What glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who,when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls" (1Peter 2:20–23).

The apostle Paul commands, "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3). Finally, the Lord himself gives us this promise: "He that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved" (Matthew24:13).

I ask you—what is your hardship? Is your marriage in turmoil? Is your job in crisis? Do you have a conflict with a relative, a landlord, a friend who has betrayed you?

We are to take hope. You see, just as Paul's suffering never let up, neitherdid his revelation, his maturity, his deep faith, his settled peace. He said,"If I'm going to be a spiritual man—if I really want to please my Lord—then I can't fight my circumstances. I'm going to hold on and never quit. Nothing on this earth can give me what I get from God's Spirit every day in my trial. He's making me a spiritual man."

Paul's life "breathed" with the Spirit of Christ. And so it is with every truly spiritual person. The Holy Ghost pours forth out of that servant's inner being the heavenly breezes of God. This person isn't downcast; he doesn't murmur or complain about his lot. When Men and Women Become Vile....

Is it important how we as "Christians" portray ourselves in public, and in the media that is open to us? I believe it is.

We are to be an example of Christ, and His disciples to our fellow brethren and the world around us. So then, our manner ought to be different, our speech ought to be different. The way we treat one another ought to be different.

If we are going to portray ourselves as the brethren, then we need to be like Christ.

We must never think that because of our knowledge, and our position with God, that we have licence before God, to be crass, vile or vulgar. We need to learn to keep our less than pure comments to ourselves, and consider our audience. We should not make videos or do blogs or face book comments, that could not be read or overheard by children, because of vile or crass comments.

It troubles me much, when I see and hear those who place themselves in a position of leadership, become as such, even jesting and belittling the brethren. I heard a sister relate the other day of a pastor belittling the over weight, that is uncalled for. The over weight have many a battle to overcome, and they need the strength of the Lord. Would that same pastor make fun of drug addicts and alcoholics?

We are to be above reproach before the world. Oh yes, I know, the world can find fault even when there is no fault to be found, yet still, we are to strive to be a good example and as unlike the world that we can. Our conversation, our speech is to be above reproach. We are to set a guard at our mouths, and guard our hearts. We are to shun the very appearance of evil, lest we self destruct!

Romans 12:1-2

TAKE HOLD OF YOUR TRIAL BY FAITH - David Wilkerson 8/12/2010

If we didn't have conflict, pressure, trials, wars, we would become passive and lukewarm. Decay would set in and our temple would lie in ruins. We wouldn't be able to handle the territory we've gained. That's why the enemy's plan againstus is clear: He wants to take us out of the battle. His aim is to remove all the fight from us.

We find all our resources for maintenance—strength to go on, power over the enemy—in our spiritual battles. And that fruit—resources, strength, spiritual wealth—supplied me in a way I couldn't have gotten through any other means.

I urge you: Take hold of your trial by faith, and believe God has allowed it.Know that he's using it to make you stronger…to help you take spoils from Satan...to make you a blessing to others…and to sanctify it all to his glory.

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;we are perplexed, but not in despair" (2 Corinthians 4:7-9).
