The Ark Of The Covenant, Answers In The Word!

I am sure of only these things in The Word Stephen, thanks for your comment by the way, (on "The Ark Of The Covenant" blog below) you raised a point worth a response.
Only the priestly tribe of Levi, were to be the bearers and tenders to the ark of the covenant, here are a couple of examples of scripture in regards to this subject.
Also, yes your correct, there was the example of Uzza trying to steady the ark when he thought it was going to fall, and being struck dead by God, I think that is the example your referring to. So I to would question anyone claiming to have discovered and or seen inside the ark of the covenant.
I wasn't to sure about the demeanor of the two Rabbis, their eyes didn't seem to make contact with the person asking the questions on the video.
This blog is designed to cause people to think, and to question and to dig into The Word, the only thing that we can trust by the way, in this day and hour!

1 Chronicles 13:9-10
And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.
10And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Leviticus 10:1-2
And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
2And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

Leviticus 16:1-2
And the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;
2And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

Deuteronomy 31:24-27
And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,
25That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,
26Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
27For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death?

In 1 Samuel 1:5-12 you can read how God cursed and destroyed some of the Philistines when the ark of the covenant was in their hands.

A prophecy in regards to the end times for Israel is as follows:
Jeremiah 3:14-19
Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
15And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
16And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
17At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
18In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.
19But I said, How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? and I said, Thou shalt call me, My father; and shalt not turn away from me.

Read Hebrews 9….all is fulfilled in Christ

Revelation 11:19 Tells us where we the children of God will for certain, next see the ark of the covenant:

And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

I hope that others will also give input, let us reason together Amen, and let God be true and every man a liar...Amen...

This will likely be part one of a two part blog...

Your recommendation to study the Word of God for ourselves is very well received! The event where King David had recovered the Ark from the enemy and was transporting it back to Israel has always facinated me. Here we have a King who had a heart after God; he was excited to return the Ark to its proper place. The big issue with God, I feel, was that the Israelites had grown too famiiar with Him, the Ark and the things of God. They took these things lightly or had grown too familiar with them.

The Law was read the the Kings of Israel once a year. The proper transport of the Ark was explained in detail in the Law. David and those with him got to anxious, apparently and decided to transport it the fastest way; on a cart.

It is human nature to reason away God's ways, laws, and commands. We reason, "He will understand...He will make an exception...He knows my heart..." and so forth.

People have paid a heavy price for taking the things of God lightly. Any issue regarding His glory is nothing to be toyed with.

This is what scares me to death with the so called revivals in Pensacola, Toronto, and now Lakeland...such frivolous treatment of the Holy Spirit of God! I fear for anyone who even attends such meetings!

Very nice facsimile of the Ark of the Covenant .. it evens appears to glow.

The real Ark may be under the Temple Mount - or in Etheopia - or elsewhere.

Yes Randy, just this morning I felt in my spirit that Todd Bentley, of the Lakeland revival is going to be slain by the Spirit of God. People will think he has been slain in the spirit, but they will find he has been slain by the Holy Spirit.
There are many who have exposed what is going on in these so called revivals.
There is a good series on this on utube by Andrew Strom let me see if I can post the links here for you:

there are five of these in this series let me know if you can access them.
Thank you for your good comments Randy.
