Jeremiah 5:25-31
Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.
29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;
31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
Why do people want to run to men like Kim Clement, Dutch Sheets, Lou Engle, Peter Wagner, Cindy Jacobs and all the rest?
What is it in them, that desires to seek out these false prophets to give them a Word?
Is God not sufficient, is His Word not enough?
Ahhh...they all reaffirm for the people that their kingdoms are not going to come to an end, they won't have to give up their place in this world, they will take back the world, and subdue it. After all Jesus is not coming back for decades, not until we have subdued the earth on His behalf, Oh...I see!

If these people really and truly believed what their "so-called" prophets are saying, and if they had a love for those that are perishing, as Jesus did...they would be out in the streets begging and pleading with the lost to repent and to turn from their evil ways and seek the Lord. Instead they hide in their gathering places and prophcy to each other about how everybody but themselves is going to perish...while they think they are going to get all the best this world has to offer.
Jesus said that if we love the world then the love of the Father is not in us.
Also, God is not going to "work" with this system. The whole "system" is going to be torn down and destroyed by Almighty God!
Rev. 11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever."
This happens after the rath of God is poured out on the earth.
Rev. 16:18 "And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, [and] so great."
Rev. 16:19 "And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath."
This doesn't sound like to me anybody walking into goverment offices and taking over.
And how about this description of Jesus returning with an iron rod:
Rev. 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him [was] called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
v.12 His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and on his head [were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
vs. 13 And he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
vs. 14 And the armies [which were] in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
vs. 15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God."
And in my opinion, those other two clowns are blaspheming and making a mockery of the Holy Spirit. May God have mercy on their souls!
I confirm what Diana has said about these false prophets, but the people who follow these false teachers are not free from their responsibilty to follow the Lord and not men.
5 Thus says the Lord: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.
We are told that if any man is willing to do the Lords will that we shall know the teaching if it is from God or man.
So for the people that ..."love to have it so" they too will have to answer for their unwilliness to follow the Truth.

I just thought I would put my 2 cents in about this. As you know Diana we both came out of the Dominionist movement. And the Lord has shown us the truth about these false teachers. We will only follow the voice of our Lord Jesus Christ and not listen to another!
