I wonder what part of "BE NOT UNEQUALLY YOKED TOGETHER WITH UNBELIEVERS" Rick Warren and others like him don't understand.
In this article, Christianity, as we have known it in America, is foreseen to collapse. You need to read this, it is quite the eye opener...however it neglects one factor the written Word of God:
To those in the body of Christ, what is spoken of in this article is all part and parcel of what is known as the great falling away, and it has been occurring for some time, and is now increasing, and we see this by examples such as Rick Warren, who have no trouble yoking themselves together with the world in order to accomplish what they think is pleasing to God. These things must come to pass however that the Written Word of God may be fulfilled.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-3
1. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2. That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Matthew 24:7-14
7. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

10. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

As the days and weeks, and months go on saints, we will witness many, many more, who call themselves "Christians" fall away from the Truth of the Word of God. ....Stand Fast Saints of God, for your redemption draweth nigh.

Until believers begin to understand the offense of the cross, they can’t truly understand what it is to follow Jesus.
Counterfeit Christianity really is dying, and that is a good thing. The real church will never die. We have our Savior’s Word that the gates of hell will not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18)
Thank you sister, for pointing this out. God has a plan for His people that are seperated from this world and it's laws
2 Corinthians 6:17
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
This is why God specifically states that we are not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Unbelievers posses unclean things, which can cause some of us to be be led back into egypt. Back to the place where God delivered us from. Praise God for His Word!
