Understanding 1 Corinthians 14-INTRODUCTION- Part 1-Video of How Not To Display Oursleves in Public

INTRODUCTION

Warning:

If you don’t believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is for every born again believer even yet today, then don’t read this blog, because it will just make you angry, and I don’t want to make you angry, so just skip this one.

I have had several experiences over the years since my new born existence, where I have come across those leaders who pay no heed to
1 Corinthians 14 when it comes to the directing of their followers publicly as a body.

I was in a service once where a pastor stood up and instructed the people to all speak in tongues at once, which is totally against God’s order as it is written in 1 Corinthians 14, and when I shared this with him, he said, “Well we will just have to agree to disagree.”

Excuse me? What is that! The Word of God will stand for ever whether we agree with it or not! Let God be true and every man a liar!

I have also seen leaders so intent upon the people becoming “drunk” in the Spirit and manifesting the “gifts” of the Spirit, that they neglected the importance of their followers manifesting the “fruit” of the Spirit.
To them it was more important that the people fall out on the floor, yell and scream, than whether their lives measured up to the gospel or not.

It seemed to be some what of a trophy for the leaders to flaunt what they called “the workings of the Holy Spirit” in their midst. Some what like Todd Bentley, and the “Elijah Prophets” bunch today.

Unfortunately all such workings were not, and are not of the Holy Spirit, they are of “another spirit”.

When the Holy Spirit is at work in a person’s life they begin to manifest the character and nature of Jesus Christ-the one who saved their wretched soul. Without that character and nature, that Holiness, no man shall see God!

These days with U-Tube we have access to a "new breed" of those who are being led astray, and out of God’s order when it comes to manifestations that some claim are of the Holy Spirit.

Not all manifestations are Holy manifestations!

The Holy Spirit was given that the children of God might receive power to become witnesses of Jesus Christ, that we may speak the Word of God with boldness. Not that we may fall “drunken” in the public streets, with someone standing over us waving a shoe in our face chanting-“Shoe, Shoe, Shoe”, this is totally out of order as shown in this video on U-Tube.

Two of the key young leaders of this “new drunken movement” are John Crowder and his pal Ben Dunn….who lead young people in “drunk” fests, we will show another video on U-Tube in part 2

End of Part 1

Having someone lay their hand on your forehead or pushing you to the ground is not the answer; you get right back up and look for another one to lay their hand on your forehead and push you down. It is a never ending process, or so it seems. If the Spirit of the Living God is in a person, He will manifest Himself through that persons change of character, actions, beliefs and mannerism's.

He comes in the measure that we yield to Him. Yield a lot, He will fill the spot; yield a little and we get little.

Only Christ was totally filled with, walked in, obeyed, acted and lived in total submission to the Spirit. We are given in measure; He was given in fullness.HE distributes the gifts as He sees fit!

Thank you for bringing up this subject and the video; it is an issue that needs attention. May those who are truly seeking God be led by His Spirit to those who can teach, edify and support them.

Amen sister! The Lord desires our obediance more than sacrafice. There is rebellion taking place in these videos and God is not pleased.
