OH God, I am so sorry LORD, that your people do not know the difference between the profane and the HOLY.
LORD, I am so sorry that your people insist on defiling themselves, with the world, and the things of the world.
LORD, I am so sorry that your people will not restrain the lusts of their flesh, and the lust of their eyes, and the pride of life.
LORD, I understand fully why we are under your judgment, and that it is not going to get better, but O so much worse. For we have chosen our path, and our hearts are not set upon you LORD!
O LORD have mercy on those who love you, and keep your commandments!
Lamentations of Jeremiah 1:1-2,5, 15-16
1. How doth the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!
2. She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
5. Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
15. The joy of our heart is ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
16. The crown is fallen from our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
As the Lord Afflicted Jerusalem, so shall he afflict America and its "church" for her sins. A weeping and a wailing shall be heard in all the land.
