The Souls Under The Altar

Revelation 6:9-11
9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
The souls under the altar”, this is something the Lord brought to me Tuesday during the night, after having had a conversation with my son earlier in the evening.

My son had called me from work, about 9:30pm, (he works 2ND shift). He was sharing with me as several saints have over the last few months, about the saints in India that are being slaughtered for their faith. Saints these brave and faithful ones have been added to the souls under the altar, and they have lived out their testimony before us, Amen.

I have heard some simply ludicrous comments on the souls under the altar over the last few years. There are people who believe them selves to be above being a part with the souls under the altar. They believe the souls under the altar to be inferior to themselves, less worthy of Gods protection and keeping power, yes saints you heard right. They believe God is going to hide them because they get “It” they are more holy more righteous before God. Well let me tell you something, that attitude is going to take you to the cross, quicker, to rid you of your air of superiority. Many are in for a shock, let us stand fast saints and not waver.

My son shared some other thoughts with me. It is a miracle in my sons life, because he used to be bound by drugs and alcohol and many other things. The Lord has brought him a long, long way, Glory to His Holy Name. My son told me that he has given up weight training and working out, because he says it’s not of any eternal value. He is into his Bible day and night seeking for the Lord to reveal things to his heart. He has been reading in Daniel, and let me tell you saints the Lord is opening up the Word to Him. He was sharing what the Lord is showing him, and saints the Lord is showing him the truth.

He wants the baptism in the Holy Spirit, because he wants to have more of the power of God in his life. He has expressed a desire to preach the gospel, saints this is a miracle!
I told him that all the witnessing he does to others is also preaching the gospel..amen!

He has two little girls and another on the way, he said he hopes that God will take his children in their sleep before anything bad happens. Saints he is just expressing the concern of many for the little ones. But saints we don’t need to fret, God will be with us and with our little ones no matter what comes upon us.

It was so wonderful to me that my son was so deep in thought about this day and hour, and that he realizes the time in which we are living, and knows its not time to play in the world. I praise God for this, it is only by His Mighty hand. Glory to the Most High!

Like the precious brothers and sisters in India and other places in the world may we also we willing to lay down our lives for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Saints here is the reward for the souls under the altar:

Revelation 20:4-6
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Unfortunately, the "Church" has not taught this correctly. It has not done its job in preparing the saints for what is coming upon the earth, and the urgency of getting the message of the Gospel out to the lost. Instead these false teachers and deceivers have told the saints that they need not worry; that Jesus is going to come back twice, once to take them out of the world, so they won't need to suffer and then leave the rest down here to get a "second" chance, which the bible does NOT teach.

If this were taught correctly, as you have here, the saints of God would be busy repenting and crying out to God for mercy.

Amen Diana, You are speaking truth here....

Forgive me for not commenting here before this time. I check in daily and even post a few from here at my blog and at my forum.

The truth indeed need's to be sent forth. Saint's are asleep and need to awaken from their slumber while there is still yet time to do so.

I commend you all for getting the truth out in this last hour, as it is truly needed.

God Bless You All, Deborah

Praise God for you son, Sister Helen! Tell him he has a Brother in the LORD here in WV!
I agree with your view regarding the teachings that the church will not have to suffer. If we do not suffer, how can one say they are of and in Christ! This is one of the most contridictory teaching I have ever heard! If one runs from suffering, there is no growth, no revelation, no fellowship of suffering and so forth. I do not want to be just a heap of Christian jello as this thing wraps up.

One thing that has always facinated me with the ways of God, are the Scriptures that mention a specific number being given for something. Numbers are important with God. The verse you used mentions "until the number has been filled", in another area of Scripture in this regard it mentions "until the number of Gentiles has been fulfilled..."

When this number is reached; it will be too late for those who did not come in. The number chosen by God is not a number plus one or two, or a number minus one or two, it is a specific number, period. To delay the call and moving of the Holy Spirit in one's life is an awesome, fearful thing to imagine. He may pass one by, and move onto another who is more receptive. What if that last one is the one that meets the final number?

The window of opportunity is drawing to a close. Like Noah's ark, when the door was closed one last time, it was too late. Beat, pound, cry and scream as much as one can, it is too late.

A day is fast approaching when God determines for one last time, and He say, "let them who are holy, remain holy...let them who are unclean, remain unclean..."

I search my heart daily in that regard.

Helen...Thank you for giving notice to our brothers and sisters that are dying for their faith. It seems to me the ones you speak of, that have gone before us, have the better portion; even though in the natural it looks otherwise. Who knows, with the way things are a changing in this country and around the world, we might ourselves be called to die for his name. I guess thats as good a reason as any to get into the practice of really and truely dying to self, all of self, everyday.
Praise the merciful sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus for the testimony of your son. May the Father continue to lead you and your son into the fullness of Christ and may the reflection of His character draw all of your family unto Himself. Danny

Yes Randy the times of the gentiles are surley coming to a close brother. God is soon to begin dealing with the nation of Israel to draw a remenant to Himself. For blindness in part has come to them until the times of the gentiles is fulfilled..Amen

Thank you Brother Danny I appreciate your taking time to comment. I covet your prayers for my family and myself. I certainly do not want to be weighed in the balances and found wanting. I desire to be pleasing to The Lord, and am striving to crucify my flesh more each day.God Bless you all.
