Luke 6:26
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

Photo to the right is Rick Warren with the Syrian Grand Mufti ... An enemy of God and of Israel.

Compromiser, Unity and Peace At Any Cost Guru, Rick Warren, Is being hailed as the new "Billy Graham"...(who by the way has denied Jesus Christ is the only Way by which men may be saved-Billy Graham has been recorded denying Christ you can find it on u-tube)...How long before Bro Rick makes the same statement..or has he said more by his actions already?
Oh saints does this article make you feel all warm and fuzzy or does it make your blood boil..this is a survey, please leave your comments...
I must give credit to a dear sister in the Lord for also making me aware of this article.
We work together to warn the saints and to attempt to reach the lost within the church and the world.

The "religion of pragmatism" is what they espouse. It has nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ unto salvation. They believe in their hearts that "they" can do it all. Here are two excerpts from the writer. It makes me want to "puke".

"This is a big deal, because it signals an important turn in the American Evangelical tradition - from viewing people of other faiths primarily as lost souls requiring conversion to viewing them as partners in the plan to make earth more humane and just. "Progressive Evangelicals" like Jim Wallis, Brian McLaren and Tony Campolo (read an interview here with Campolo on interfaith cooperation), have long been involved in interfaith efforts, but the mainline of that tradition has always been more wary. That could be changing."

"That approach is American pragmatism at its best: a visionary leader engaging all possible partners in his plan to transform earth."

Can you see God wanting to have a meeting with Allah? What a joke these fellows are; it also makes me actually feeling ill. Something is wrong with this fellow who professes, and preaches that he is a Christian. He may very well be an American compromising capitalist Christian, but Biblical I think not. Where are these fellows coming from? Stupid of me to ask such a question; we know from whence they come.

I'm familiar with Warren's literature, and while I have some deeply running disagreements with much of his theology I've found very little evidence (including context) to believe he's denied that Christ is the only way.

I could certainly be wrong.

However, there's a difference between a wolf-in-sheep's-clothing false teacher and a misguided teacher. Particularly in contrast to many others (Osteen, Bell, Claiborn, to name a few), it's hard to see him as a blood thirsty false teacher.

Seems more like he should be rebuked and admonished, not condemned.

Just some thoughts.

Dear William I think if you re-read the blog you will see that I am referring to Billy Graham when I say he denied Christ not Rick Warren...thanks for your comment..Sorry if I did not make that clear enough...Seed
