Covetousness, Usury, Judgment

"The Love of Money Is The Root of all Evil."

Saints, God is not for us borrowing to to feed our covetousness, nor is He for those who charge exorbitant interest rates (Usury). His Word lays out the way for us to avoid the situation we now find ourselves in as a nation.
It is pure greed and lust for money that has gotten us to this place of financial destruction.

It is because of our impatience, to wait upon the Lord to provided for us that we have looked to the government, and to easy money to provide our wants.
We now find ourselves in a time of God's judgment upon those who have been overcome with greed. Sin has consequences.

The so called wisdom on men is foolishness with God.

Loans have been made to people who it was known by the lenders could not pay them back. This is wickedness.

Proverbs 28: 8
8He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.

In other words, God will judge such a one, and he shall die and his substance will be left to one who will pity the poor.

Psalm 59:8
But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Psalm 2:4
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

Derision: an object of ridicule and scorn

The world holds the United States right now as an object of ridicule and scorn. They have an I told you so attitude, they scorn at our financial woes.

If only we as a country who professed to be led by God, had learned to be content with what we had, instead of lusting for bigger and more things; instead of striving to keep up with the Jones's.

We should never have come to the point of judging a man or a woman buy the abundance of his or her possessions, or by the amount of education or lack there of. (We have taught our children to borrow thousands of dollars for their education. Young people have been encouraged to get credit cards.)
Saints naked we came into this world, and naked we shall go out, and it is a surety that we can take none of our money or possessions with us.

Isaiah 5:19
And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth the LORD our God all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange gods in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.

How you might say have we served strange god's?
By not living in obedience to the Written Word of the Most High God, by not doing His will in this country.

I hear now that in essence we have been taken over by the government: we are now serving stangers in a land that is no longer ours saints. We have become a socialist nation overnight. We are being consumed as a nation.

Saints only what we do to Glorify God is going to count in the end. Keep the Faith saints you know where your help comes from..Amen!!!

Amen, dear sister. As Danny said, that is right on the mark. You hit the nail right smack on the head! All we need do is look to God's word for wisdom. Praise God! Grace and blessings to you!

True for not only the US but all western nations. We are living in nations, and a world, which are almost ready to receive their final judgment. I read Psalm 2 often, because our King is in Zion - we do not belong to the kingdoms of this world, and in fact, the Lord laughs.....and so do I, because I don't belong here. The Lord will return soon. Maranatha, and take courage saints!

How the mighty have fallen! I think of the different character between King Saul and King David. Saul wanted to do things his way; offer sacrifice to God on his own without waiting for the prophet Samuel. He was unrepentant, he made excuse after excuse. He did not have a repentant heart. David, on the other hand, sinned greviously before the LORD on several occasions; he ran immediately to God for forgiveness, for a change of heart, and deep repentance. This is the orgin of many of the Psalms.

Different men, different hearts. What is the heart of America as judgment arrives? I fear to think of the correct answer. We are coming to the place where, in a worldly sense, it is going to be every man for himself! But in a Godly sense, it is time for righteousness, light and revelation to come upon the Children of the Great King!

No matter how dark it gets down here, the darkness cannot exaust the light of even one candle; the Spirit is our light. We will have ample opportunity to be witnesses of God's faithfulness and power on behalf of those who love Him.
