Spiritual Adultery at its finest. The so called church playing the idolatrous whore.
The Lord spoke this to my heart while I was pondering this Hillsong Apostasy, "With their mouths they do honor me, but their hearts are far from me. "
Matthew 15:8 Jesus said: This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
There are those who sing praise and worship to God but is it Jesus they love, or is it their worship they love, is it the music they love? These people have made millions from their music.
By their fruits ye shall know them!
Does someone who is truly intimate with the Most High and Holy God, bow to an anti-Christ false prophet & teacher? Do they unequally yoke themselves together with unbelievers for the sake of so called unity? NO .....This is an UNHOLY ALLLIANCE

I didn't pay a lot of attention to the happenings here around World Youth Day. There was a story on the news showing the influx of pilgrims, and also the vast catholic merchandise which was distasteful. I was not aware of Hillsong's support of the Pope, but am not the least bit surprised.
I became very careful even singing songs coming out of that church (and yes, catholic churches use Hillsong music) because the subtle changing and omission of scriptures in the song lyrics is so very dangerous to people who don't know their Bibles, and learn scriptures only through what they sing. An example of modern music twisting scriptures (which is actually not a Hillsong composition, but rather Robin Mark) is a chorus which goes "There is no condemnation now for those who put their trust in You Oh Lord...." NO, NO, NO! The Scriptures say "There is now therefore no condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus WHO WALK NOT AFTER THE FLESH BUT AFTER THE SPIRIT" Romans 8:1. See what I mean. There are many other examples. Thank you for mentioning this and alerting us, dear sis.
Praise God Sister Bonnie and thank you for sharing the truth with us. It is so easy to get lost in some of this so called Worship music, without even considering those things which you have pointed out. Praise God that He won't allow the elect to be deceived. He is constantly revealing to His people the error that is in the so called "Church" today.
Glory to God maybe we can work on exposing more of this so called "Worsip music" and how it omits the full truth of the gospel.
