The Truth About Pastor Steve Anderson-Baptist Pastor Stopped by Border Patrol Agents

In this hour saints we can't afford to take anyone or anything at face value so to speak....I felt that there was something wrong in this young mans character-God has revealed him for what he is, I pray that many more people are made aware of his true nature. We need to pray for him, and his family, this is a very anger filled man.
He caused quite a stir in the Christian community when he was arrested back in 2008 by the boarder patrol....however there was more to the story than met the eye.

In part 4 of the video series which has since been removed from u-tube this Pastor manifested his true character -and it was not the character and nature of Jesus Christ.
http://www.faithfulwordbaptist.blogspot.com/ - this is the link to the "Pastor's" blog.
http://www.truebornsons.com/ -Link to his anarchist type organization.

This young man is deceived he doesn't realise that his liberty is in Christ, not the American constitution. This young man doesn't realise that he is fighting against the Will of The Most High God.

When I watched the first video I wondered why he didn't comply with the lawful request by the officer to search his trunk. They would have done their search and let him go. It looked to me that he was looking for a fight. Thanks for posting!

Yes men like these are going to bring the government down on the true children of God...they are a detriment to the body of Christ...they are tools in the hands of Satan...and shall be held accountable unto The Most High God!
HH back to you sister!

Thank you sister I will pray. There are believers in other parts of the globe who are being persecuted for the Gospel, for real. It would have been best for the young man to obey and do what he was told instead of being rebellious. He was not persecuted for the Gospel.

I am saddened that he wanted to decided to deceived those of us who know that the persecution that is written about in the Bible is coming soon to us in the west.

Yes Deborah someone sent me the Orange Alert thingy...I am not going to post it because it is just another fear tatic..These conspiracy folks are allowing Satan to use them...I am not saying that evil men are not being used to conspire against the children of God...but as you say we are to put our lives and our Trust in the Lord Jesus Christ...He is our Deliverer.Amen!

I believe that all US citizens should be protected by the 4th Amendment. The federal agents did NOT have probably cause to stop him. The pastor is exercising his rights under the Constitution. The border patrol agents were abusing their authority. It's all clear if you watch the tape. This man has a right to be angry. If I ever get stopped by an agressive federal agent, I will do exactly what this young man did.

Anon, if you would listen to the audio links I posted at the top of the blog on this subject you might become better informed-this was not the first time this man had provoked the boder patrol-this was the 11th time...I am not saying that the border patrol didn't go overboard in their treatment of him...but this is what happens when you don't walk in the Spirit and you don't manifest the true Character and nature of Christ. Yes all who live Godly in Christ Jesus Shall Suffer Persecution. God doesn't tell us to go looking to be persecuted...persecution comes when we take a stand for the Truth of The Word of God and for our Testimony in Christ...This young man was not standing in Truth or for Truth, he was standing for his "rights" concerned with this present life...When it comes to the govt. people no longer have "rights"-because of our sin God has brought Judgment upon us.
To strive against the government is to strive against the will of God who places both the good and the evil in power-for our good-to humble us-but unfortunately many will not be humbled-they prefer to rebel-and rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. They prefer to trust in their own strength and flesh and their own arm to save them, instead of trusting in the Lord of Hosts...Thank you for leaving a comment!

You guys are why america is the way it is, not Steve Anderson. It's people like steve anderson who fought to make america a free nation. This man did a very Godly thing. It is never right to lay down and let evil win. This man had the right to remain silent. Even jesus exercised his right to remain silent when he refused to answer any questions. When all the new aged false christions are aceppting fags in their church and welcoming false prophets, and voting in evil leaders, this man is standing up against sin, standing up against the homosexual agenda that is destroying the nation, standing against abusive leaders, Standing against evil, preaching against sin. I suggest you read the new testament again and have a close look at Jesus. Most of his sermons were hard, loud sermons against sin and against oppresive bullies in power. "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess"

I bet most of Jesus's sermons sounded very angry too. That is what real love is. Not the pansy fairy preachers in 99% of churces today that are too worried about what everyone else thinks and too sissy to say anything agaisnt anyone.

I was stopped at this exact check point just three days ago. I was asked to pull over and have my truck searched. My wife and I were returning to our home in Texas after vacationing in San Diego. I pulled forward and the guard asked me where I was coming from. I responded "San Diego". He asked me where I was going. I responded "(Our town), Texas". He asked me where I was from. I responded "(Our town), TX". He asked me if I was an American citizen, and I replied yes.

I, too, am a pastor, and do my best to act as Christ like as possible. It is hard to comprehend what happened to Mr. Anderson, but I can definitely attest to the fact that you are not a human being with the US Border Patrol, you are an "investigation". They do not care who you are, or anything else about you.

I was asked to have my truck searched because the dog seemed interested in the rear of my truck. I obliged. I got out of my truck and they asked me to step aside while the dog performed a search of the PERIMETER of my truck. The agent then asked me if I had any knives on me, to which I truthfully responded "no". He asked me to step over towards a bench where I was instructed to place my hands on my head and spread my legs while he did a full pat down. I started to become very frustrated with the agent because I felt my rights were immediately violated. However, after seeing this video above, I decided to continue to comply.

The dog searched my truck and found nothing. The agent handed me my license and my wife and I went back to our truck to leave. In returning to my truck, my driver seat was completely covered in sand and dirt, my center console had paw prints all over it, there was dog hair all over my front and rear seats, and dog saliva was also covering my front and rear seats. I was completely enraged.

The point of what happened to Mr. Anderson, and to the mildly inhumane treatment I received is that Mr. Anderson, and myself, were NOT treated respectfully. We were both forced to "turn over our rights" as if we were guilty, and were treated very inhumanely.

Luckily, I saw Mr. Anderson's video footage and decided to swallow my pride and undergo this rude treatment.

I understand the Border Patrol's duties, but there comes a point where you must respect people if you expect people to respect you. They showed no respect for my vehicle and I was very angered by this. I cannot imagine how Mr. Anderson feels.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us sir....as the children of God we shall have yet many more indignities to deal with ....IF we are to stand faithful to Jesus Christ...we must not faint in the day of adversity...we must stand in the strength of the Lord and the Power of His Might...You did well brother, you did well...

He didn't do well. He wimped out and gave in to them like most feminine new age pastors do. Go home and change your skirt. Read the book of acts. Paul never backed down even when faced with prison, even when beaton, even when imimidated. He stood up for what was right. That's a real christian.

A Seed Sower said...

Grag, the difference between Steve Anderson and Paul, is that Paul was full of the Holy Ghost, and when he suffered...he was suffering for the cause of Jesus Christ!
Thank you for taking the time to comment!

Mr. Anderson is rediculous. His actions are out of the ordinary at the checkpoints which gives the necessary suspicion. When the Agents make a valid point he runs by saying I want to go home. He needs to act like a grown up and respect Law Enforcement. All he is doing as a PREACHER and supposed TEACHER is teaching youth and others to disrespect those protecting us.

"All he is doing as a PREACHER and supposed TEACHER is teaching youth and others to disrespect those protecting us."

with protectors like them, who needs enemies.

Treat others including law enforcement with desrespect, you better be ready to be treated back with disrespect. Pretty simple.

We can probably just skip the religious comparisons. I'm spiritual, but not religious and it seems that to any reasonable person, this man is entirely out of line. Sounds like the type of guy the world would be better off without.

Steven Andersen needs Jesus-any man that can said "someone needs to die" with such racist and ignorance-I way he's a wolf in sheep's clothing and behind a pulpit-by-the-way self made!!

i´m not an US-citizen, in fact i´m from germany, and i´m not religious or spiritual in any way, just saw the videos at youtube at random. He seems to be a very angry person, somebody who should be looked at very carefully. I hope not to hear about him in the news some day.

I think this man is doing a great job. what has he really done or said that is wrong? Standing up for his rights? Cmon. Nobody deserves to have their privacy violated by strange men. And as far as wishing Obama dies. Do you have any idea how many murders that man is responsible for. Anyone who would rather ionnocent babies and young soldiers dead rather than an evil president needs to be shot.

Listen if we as the children of God, don't know how to stand in Christ Jesus, under this kind of persecution, without railing back at our captors, how are we any different than them?
Steve Anderson went looking for persecution, looking for a fight, and he always seems to be able to find one. He is guilty of the sin of being a railer. He is not a Godly Christ like example for anyone, despite his title!

Persecution shall find all the children of God in America soon enough, and in our patience we shall possess our souls.

You may find some interesting facts to add to this from an article I recently published on my website called Steve Anderson, After The Tribulation: A Refutation. Other false doctrines, and his association with criminals and other false prophets.

And "Anonymous" the guy preaches that Christians are going through the tribulation under the same judgments as unbelievers. If the guy thinks that persecution is a God given calling, why would he resort to leaning on his "rights"? If persecution is the will of God, does not the will of God over ride his earthly "rights"?
And the only reason he was found "not guilty" was because the they did a terrible job at not only what they charged him with, but how they prosecuted the case. Rights or no rights, standing up for your rights does not mean compromising your testimony for Christ. "if possible as much as lieth in you, live peacably with all men " Rom 12. He went out of his way to provoke them called them Nazi's ("speak evil of dignities" 2 Peter 2:10), and to willingly subject himself to something that could have killed him just to prove a point, that was not in defense of the gospel, is just plain STUPID.
