How quickly saints we forget that the battle is The Lords!
Psalm 78:34-42
34. When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and inquired early after God.
35. And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
36. Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.
37. For their heart was not right with him, neither were they stedfast in his covenant.
38. But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
39. For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passeth away, and cometh not again.
40. How oft did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
41. Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
42. They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

Saints when we take matters into our own hands, we are limiting the Holy One of Israel. We are saying God you are not able to crush the wicked, we will do it for you, we have a constitution, we don't need you Lord we will stand on our constitution- The constitution of this country is shifting sand saints, it can be changed, it can be modified-but saints God does not change!
Back in the early 1990's, I too, got involved in activism of a sort, through standing against the evil of abortion. I watched many who started out prayerfully, and then when God didn't shut all the abortion clinics down as quickly as they thought He should, they turned to the arm of the flesh, and got very involved in the political arena, therein showing that they didn't believe God was able, on His own, to end abortion. I know the frustration of living amongst sinners, I know the frustration of observing evil first hand. I know the frustration of evil being protected by the government and the local police. However if evil is to be stopped, it will not be at my hand, or yours but by THE HAND OF GOD!
We know that there is coming a day when God will put a stop to all EVIL, and we will no longer live under such oppression and such wickedness.

This world is waxing worse and worse, nothing is pleasing before Our God anymore. It saddens me what He must look upon, there is so much sin, blood and oppression. I can certainly understand His just Wrath.
We are His Witnesses in this dark and vile world, His Truth is the Light we press into, Amen!
Amen, Sister Helen! When we join with groups we are depending on the arm of the flesh to make a change. In reality, for bible believers, and professing Christians, we believe that change comes from repentance and a change of heart. This change can only come from God.
Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.
