If A Person is Christ like, How will that manifest itself?

Everything we are as the children of God, and everything we do as the children of God, will be motivated first by our overwhelming Love for the Most High God, and our Love and concern for the brethren. There will be nothing self seeking about the children of God or their ministry or their daily lives.

If we as the children of God are not willing to therefore crucify our flesh daily we are NOT worthy of HIM.

A true child of God will be: long suffering and kind
They will be gentle and meek
They will be humble and forgiving
They will be loving and generous
They will be honest, dependable and reliable
They will be easily entreated
They will be encouraging to the brethren
They will be modest and temperate in all things
They will prefer others before themselves
They will seek for peace
They will not be easily provoked or angered
They will seek reconciliation with the brethren
They will think no evil, their minds will be submitted to God, and be cleansed and pure.

If a person claims to be a part of the body of Christ and does not manifest or are not striving to manifest these fruit of HIS SPIRIT- then they are none of HIS.

If a person is a true child of God they will submit to Gods will and will manifest these things.
Knowledge is not a Fruit of His Spirit. All the wisdom and knowledge in the world is not going to secure for anyone a place in the Heavenly Kingdom. It is easy sometimes to become caught up in the events of every day life, and looking upon the things that are coming upon the earth, and become fixated by them…and forget that we are to be striving to manifest His Character and Nature and not manifest our own flesh. If we are savvy on every conspiracy out there, yet lacking in the fruit of the Spirit of what profit is our knowledge…what profit is it if we gain the whole world and loose our own souls.

I have noticed as I am sure have some of you, that some people are always looking for a fight, always looking to strive over something, always seeking out the faults of the brethren, while ignoring their own, in fact they don’t even seem to entertain that maybe they fall short. Those of this sort, do not like to be questioned, they think more highly of themselves than they ought. Those who behave as such had better be careful, because they are in jeopardy, they have forgotten from whence God has brought them and with what Price. (Yes, I know I have used these words before, just so as you don’t think I have flunked my old timers test for today…lol)

I know also of many who are conspiracy hunters, and claim to be all knowing, and all seeing, and yet when it comes to the fruit of the Holy Spirit they are fruitless….all their head knowledge cannot save them….If they do not have of His Spirit-His character and nature they are but sounding brass to the Lord… they have a lack.

Some shudder when the word “Love” is mentioned-in part because of the miss-use by the Luke Warm Apostate church out there today…and they forget that as much as God is Judgment-GOD IS LOVE, and he that loveth not knoweth not God! God’s Words not mine!
Again everything a child of God is and everything we do should be motivated first by our Love for God and secondly by our Love for the brethren, anything else is done of the flesh and is fit for nothing but burning.

There are many who are self assured, and secure in their own righteousness, but their own righteousness shall not save them.

There are those who I know would not read a blog like this, because I hits too hard to the flesh, or it is not controversial enough, or it's not on their favorite pet subject, so they maybe would scan only the title and leave it alone.
I know of those who believe that they know the right way, and everyone else is in error, yet they spend more time trying to prove themselves right than they do in seeking to manifest the character and nature of Christ, again-if we don’t manifest His character and His Nature-His Spirit-we are none of His…. That is why He said that in that day He will say-“Depart from me ye that worketh iniquity-I NEVER KNEW YOU!.

All those who are hungry for God’s judgment to come must remember that His judgment will begin will us first saints…with US!!!!

Galatians 5:22-26
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Ephesians 5:1-20
1. Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2. And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
3. But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

4. Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

5. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

6. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

7. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

8. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

9. (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

10. Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

11. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

12. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13. But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

14. Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

15. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, (circumspect-watchful)

16. Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

17. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

18. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

19. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

20. Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 1:22
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

To those who forsake the Love of God, so shall the Love of God forsake them.
To those who show no forgivenss, no forgiveness shall be shown them of God.
To those who show no Mercy, no Mercy shall be shown them of God.
