Give Not That Which Is Holy Unto The Dogs-Who are the Dogs?

This is the Word the Lord laid on my heart and mind first thing this morning, in the form of a command.

Matthew 7:6

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Have you ever been rent for sharing the truth of the Word of God saints?

Often times when the truth of the Word of God is shared, the dogs come out, they come out to feed on the children of God, and rend us. The dogs are not lovers of The Truth. The dogs lay in wait for an opportunity to rend someone, anyone.

Phillipians 3:2-3

2. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

3. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

So we can conclude here that the dogs are those who do not worship God in the Spirit, and those who do have confidence in their own flesh.

Matthew 15:21-28

21. Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon

22. And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.

28. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

The woman/dog, the non-Jew believed and acknowledged that Jesus was The Master, that He was Lord and because of her Faith in Who He was, the Lord gave her the desire of her heart.

We as He did, are to minister the things of God to those who acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, those that seek Him!

Revelation 22:14-15

14. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The dogs are those that do not do His commandments, they are those who love lies, and to lie, they are those who have not received the love of the Truth. The dogs are those who do not seek Him nor desire Him. The dogs are those who love to rend the children of God, and who take great pleasure in it.
